Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaEven with the thermostat turned high it still wasn’t warm enough for the winter. Also the living room sink was plugged.
Size of rooms, bunk beds, 2 bathrooms, 2 TV’s, lots of toiletries.

United States of AmericaA small microwave would have been nice. There was a small island with a sink and refrigerator but no microwave to heat anything up. Also, it would be nice if there were more places to put your luggage. There is a coat closet but no dressers, only a small desk and chair in the bedroom.
The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk to times square. Also, there are three subway lines and Penn Station (Train) within a 5-10 min walk. The room was 'Nice'. It was clean but nothing special. The best thing about the room was it was large enough for our whole group. We had the Premier Family room which can accommodate up to 8 and has two full bathrooms. Our group was only 5 so it never felt crowded.

PolandThere is very little for me to say in this regard. I had no complaints about the hotel actually. Any gripes are moreso issues with prices in NYC and the taxes and fees that drive up costs. But that's not the hotel's fault!
This was a nice alternative to the other wyndham property around the corner on 8th where I usually. We were on the 5th floor and the street noise was significantly less than staying closer to 8th ave. The beds were actually very comfortable, the rooms modest and clean, and the water temp and pressure were plusses. I appreciated the multiple mirrors in the room which was small but well equipped. There didn't seem to be a lot of people staying here during my mid-week stay, as the hallways, lobby and others areas of the hotel were relatively empty and quiet. There was no wait at check in or for checking out. And location wise, I love being within walking distance of Liberty Bagels, a Starbucks, a mailbox and of course, Penn Station.

PhilippinesThe staff at the front desk could have been warmer and welcoming.
The room was quiet and large. The beds were queens and very comfy. The room was nicely apportioned as was the bathroom. The location was also great for me as it was near the Penn Station.

SwitzerlandNot much as the ratio quality, service, and price is excellent. Maybe, one could question the design, style, colors and decoration of the lobby, elevators and corridors, which are very outdated and somehow worn out (built in the 1990s or early 2000s, I assume), The small refregirator in our bedroom was old and a bit noisy but it worked well; we unplugged it at night because of this "bubble noise." But all these details are minor, when considering the low price we paid..
The location of the hôtel is excellent, close to many interresting areas and spots, and to Penn Station. Our bedroom and bathroom were clean, comfortable and pleasant. Everything was very well cleaned everyday. Good and faultless Internet/WiFi connections, and the TV set too. There is a breakfast downstair every morning that is sold $15 per people, which is à very correct price given the variety and overall quality of the food, plus you can est at will as it is à buffet of à sort.

United States of AmericaWhen we called to see if we could check in early, 1.5hrs early, we were told it was based on availability which we understood. When we got there we were told our room wasn’t ready but everyone else checking in was getting a room. They had a shift change 15 minutes into our wait, I asked that representative if a room was available and she got us in a room. The rooms aren’t the cleanest, we found a bra in the bathroom under the vanity. On checkout day, Housekeeping knocked on our door 3 times to see when we would be leaving.
Location was great, right next door to NYPD Station. Family room size was perfect. It was a quiet room, we didn’t hear anyone above or beside us. Lots of food around area.

IrelandNoise from outside was constant during the night. Needs better windows to keep sound out. One of our windows also was cracked when we arrived. Families next door and above us were very noisy with children banging doors and running around the corridors during the night too.
