눇A lovely apartment - beautiful floor boards, exposed brick, view of the ocean, good little kitchen - lovely place to stay Great location - swim every day, great street performers, drummers on the beach

눉Everything is old, ugly, dirty, damaged and moldy. Building is located in second row to beach next to a building for drug and alcohol addicted men. Surrounding is full of homeless and drug addict people and rotted buildings. It's very noisy from very early in the morning due to garbage trucks, drunk people and helicopters. Staff is not regularly available. Elevator was out of order. Free Wifi is given but only sporadic available.
눇Nothing - worst accomodation ever. If staff is avalibale they are nice and helpfull. I dont know how 2,5 points were calculated from Booking.com since I rated completely worst and would give 0 points.

눉A shockingly dirty and dangerous building, with an overpowering smell of drains. The elevator and a good selection of the lights were out of order. Looked absolutely nothing like the pictures on booking.com and shame on the site for allowing bookers to be misled! When it says "exposed brickwork" in the room it isn't kidding. What it doesn't tell you is that most of the building is faced with exposed construction blocks...well the bits that aren't crumbling. The final straw for us was my 15-year-old daughter being accosted by a vagrant in the alley as she sat minding the car (there was no parking available in a mile radius btw).. We checked straight out on the first night (though were still charged in full!) so we can't comment on how it was to stay there. But please check out the location before considering this tenement in favor of a genuine holiday apartment. On reflection I think the reviews were written by folk living there on a semi-permanent basis and not by leisure travelers. I'm sure if you need cheap housing this would be a good place to look. Clearly it could have some appeal for budget backpackers or those of older generations still trying to recapture the summer of love, especially if you believe the eye-wash about Jim Morrison having once crashed there. But frankly, given the amount we were being charged you can find much better almost anywhere else along the coast.
눇There really was nothing to like about this, except a certain crack-house chic if you're into that.
