- no place to park and check in. Entrance right at the beach means you need to go around building - scam parking right next to it. (60usd per day) - hotel is affiliated with safe parking garage 10 mins away (20 usd per day), not ideal if you have a car and want to explore the city

maybe needs a bit of a renovation but not a big deal.

Was pleasantly surprised staying here considering the price/photos. We only stayed 1 night but easily could've stayed longer, room was nice enough and spacious. Location was 10/10. Have to mention staff were willing to hold our luggage all day while we waited for our flight so extremely grateful for that.

the person behind the desk was brusque. We asked for half anhour extra time and were curtly told that their policy does not allow this, This rigidity is unaccepatble particularly if it comes with discourtesy. a little smile would help. very uncalifornian. the sofa is placed to keep the ocean less on view. The dustpan was not good enough to collect the dust. The dishwashing brush had hair in it. That is unclean. The crockery was not wher it should be. It took us a while to realize that every single item was in the dishwasher. The lift door is heavy and not friendly to people with even slight disability and there was no one to help. But above all the cold, virtually rude face and speech at the reception was hurtful!

the location is good. the ocean view from the single armchair is exceptional. The beach is not manicured and is unlike the wealthy beaches one sees in Hollywood. That is the best part of the terrace studip apartment.

As we had a very early flight we had to wait for two hours to drop off bags at 08h00. an out of hours service wouldve been great. Uber not allowed close to the hotel to pick up bags.

We enjoyed our room until Monday morning. They had a lot of construction going on or something and it was extremely loud. Woke us up early and it went all day. No notice posted anywhere about construction. We understand it has to be done from time to time but posting some kind of notice would have been helpful. Other than that a nice place to stay!

The views we had from our room were amazing! The location is awesome! Right on the beach!

No common area. The rooms were very basic and too expensive for what they are. The floor of the bathroom also flooded when I had a shower and wet all of my clothes on the floor.

The location and the view from the rooftop (although it was raining and there were no cushions on the lounges/chairs.) Staff were nice and helpful.

Elevator was old and scary. Parking was a pain having to walk 7 min away at the parking garage.

This is an older style property so if you need to use the lift and you’re claustrophobic then probably not for you! It is also not very soundproof, you can hear people walking around in their rooms upstairs. We only stayed a night so wasn’t an issue for us.

The location is sensational! A few steps from the front door and you’re on the beach. The rooftop is very cool too although it was way too windy for us to enjoy. The staff are so lovely and helpful and it was really easy to check in.

There was constantly a weird smell in the room.

The hotel is located right at the beach and public transport wasn't far. The apartment itself was quite spacious and well equipped.

The smell of weed was everywhere. Comes with the Territory i guess . Wooden floors meant the room above me was noisy , although that says more about the person in room 34 than the hotel itself. Whoever you are , maybe take your shoes off next time , especially at 1am , 6am .

Overlooking the ocean , rooftop area was a bonus .

Marijuana was very often smelled in the corridors. The walls are very thin and there is noise not only from the street but also from the surrounding rooms.

Fantastic location, you are "on the beach" :-) nice rooftop place, where you can chill or take (your own) snack/breakfast. Fast Wi-Fi, almost fully equipped kitchen.
