We were very surprised arriving to this place, the staff was really nice, restaurant good and funny, the rooms really cosy and well decorated, good value for the money and for us a perfect stop, not far from the hot springs.

Cozy, quaint family atmosphere. Cute wood cabin lodge. Clean rooms & comfy beds. They even gave us a s’mores kit in case we wanted to sit at one of the provided fire pits. It was too cold outside! Also fish food for their fish! The restaurant was closed for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend but the host offered us to eat breakfast with their family. Very welcoming.

A great place to stay after a long day in Yosemite, comfortable beds and nice outdoor areas to relax. Near to Bodie Ghost Town and other interesting sites.

We would have liked to have access to the creek side from our room.

The friendliness of the owners and staff. The restaurant’s menu and everyday specials. In other words the variety of the menu. We loved the set up. The location and the uniqueness of the accommodations.

It got very cold at night, even with the heater provided, however, we travelled in October and were at a higher elevation (and it had snowed).

The room and the beds were a nice size and the facilities were good. Staff were helpful and professional. It was a clean room, with comfortable beds. Great kitchen facilities, and a good idea for there to be a timer you can set for showers and lights to conserve energy. Nice to be away from the commercialised centre, yet be able to drive to nearby towns and to the Mono Lake.

The room seemed as if it wasn't vacuumed very well; dusty and stuff under the bed.

We enjoyed walking our dog around the facility. The availability of sitting near the river is a nice touch. We liked reading about and feeding the salmon. The room was comfy and had a great night sleep. We would stay there again no questions.

They had a pile of stuff outside that they were throwing away I suspect - a bit of an eye sore.

The room was well appointed, and its decor was a cabin esthetic. Easy check-in & check-out at their restaurant. The food was great at the restaurant, but expensive, as it is everywhere these days. The gift bag with my name on it was waiting for me in my room, which included fish food for feeding the trout at their trout farm, was a lot of fun. I didn't have time to cook on an open fire a smore (which came in the gift bag) or check out the Virginia Creek - next time!

We loved all the trails, bridges, and different outdoor areas all around. So much to look at that we did multiple walks a day to look at all the artifacts and decor. The creek was so gorgeous with the fall leaves and made for a very peaceful environment. The restaurant was like a museum with lots to look at/read about plus the food was all very delicious! We loved that it was Pet friendly too and we can’t wait to come back!

Didn't stay there long enough.

Very quirky place with cabins even old wagons you can sleep in. Plenty of heating even propane fire pits outside. It's rustic but clean, toilets are communal and we'll maintained as well as kitchen which has microwave and fridge.

I should have requested an assessable room, as the (unexpected) stairs were challenging. Booked to capacity, there would have been no opportunity to change rooms. Next time I'll be more careful in making the reservation.

Restaurant was of far higher quality that we may have otherwise expected. Room was too cold until we figured out the thermostat. Location was near Bodie State Historic Park, my destination.
