Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe hotel decor was a little dated but ok. The room was clean where it was important such as the beds, the toilet, sink, and shower. The shower had plenty of hot water and good water pressure, but the caulking in the tub showed a little mildew. The baseboards in the room and the light fixtures were a little dusty. The bed skirts were clean, but not arranged right. The noise from the street was noticeable. The hair dryer didn't work and the staff forgot to replace it, though they were nice and said they would . I would stay there again. For the price, I could overlook the dust. Overall it was adequate, but could be great if the staff were more detail oriented.
The location is great! Close to major attractions and the Links train line. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was roomy and comfortable.

United StatesWe had to park our vehicle at the uppermost deck of the parking structure which is fine but the structure, although adjacent has no attached entry to the hotel rooms so it requires one to walk down 8 flights of stairs to get to the lobby then to take the hotel elevator up to the 19th floor (where our room was located). Also we booked a large jacuzzi bath in our room (occasion was stated as a birthday) and at the end of the evening (about 11:15 pm) we filled the bath and there were no jets and no indication of how or where to turn them on. I called the front desk for advice and they informed me that in fact the bath jets do not work because the previous guest got rose petals lodged in the bath jets in the prior use and were waiting on parts to have the bath fixed. I was a bit angry that I was not notified and that they thought it was ok to book us with the perception of having this amenity when in fact it was not fully functional. So there I was late at night trying to have a romantic evening and jacuzzi with my partner only to be informed, that, "oh yeah we didn't tell you that your bath / Jacuzzi doesn't fully work." Thumbs down on that but overall everything else was fine.
The room was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful.

United StatesWhen we checked in our bathtub had hair in it. The restaurant we had to wait for 30 minutes to be seated, then once we were seated it took another 20 minutes for anyone to come over to greet us or ask what we wanted. It was ridiculous, they weren’t even busy! And to wait that long with kids is not acceptable. We only ate there once during our stay because of it.
The location is great for being close to things. We walked most everywhere. The bed was comfortable.

CanadaThe breakfast experience wasn’t good. First day we waited for 40mins to have our continental breakfast served . Also , one of the stuff is unacceptably rude , ( hair updo lady) , we stayed for three nights, first day waited to be seated, she had no greet no smile . On third day , when we ask for coffee and juice ( which we had for two other days ) told by this lady it’s only coffee OR juice. When we told her past two days we had both served, she said” That’s because they didn’t do their job properly “ well, it seemed silly to argue . To be honest, she needs work on her tone and attitude Other things like Housekeeping took my daughter blanket on the second day front desk stuffs found it from the laundry room. On the first day the beds were not made ..
Location is good ,

CanadaStaff could be more friendly. When I wanted to check out, they were inside the back office, and when I kept calling someone to assist me (my cab was waiting for me), they came out the office seeming annoyed at me, like I was being rude to get their attention.
I always stay at the Warwick when I'm in Seattle. It provides what you expect from a hotel, clean and modern rooms, great location for the best price available in the city.

United StatesThis might seem petty, but for the price paid... And I HAVE stayed here before and loved it.. Just not this time.. Went to use the luggage rack... Fell apart.. Looked like it had been repaired a few times.. Put it back together and into closet... Needed to use the iron... Would not hold water at all when using.. Soaked the shirt i was going to wear.. Called to have a new one brought up.. No worries!! Brought a hair dryer, left to get an iron, never came back.. Had to use the hair dryer to dry my shirt...lol Saw a great show at Jazz Alley.. Came back to room and thought nice relaxing bath was in order... All the amenities are there!!! Except shampoo .. Just conditioner.. Once again just laughed it off.. hey, let's get room service dessert !!! No hotel information guide anywhere, called for room service and asked about a menu... It's in the bar downstairs on the first floor?!?!? So, we will have to get dressed, go back downstairs to look at a menu to order? You could, but we stopped room service already. Ok, can we just get something in the bar then.. Nope.. They are done serving food as well.. This is around 10pm on a Saturday.. ok.. bedtime...Got up early, called valet to get car brought around.. No answer.. We'll just ask at the desk when we check out.. Very nice human at the front desk! That was the best part of our stay, truly very kind and helpful! They explained where valet was and someone was out there. Hauled the bags out there... Crickets.. padlocked, no one around.. Figured they were out getting a car.. Waited... Waited.. We have to get going.. Went back inside to have them radio, they came out with us... Tried to contact and..oops.. Three cars away.. The valet gets out of the driver's seat and comes over to help us....lmao.. nap time?!? For $53 a night to park the car, my expectation bar was set way too high...lol I LOVE the Warwick!! I would definitely recommend them!!! It was just my turn apparently! LOL!
Location.. Close to Jazz Alley!! In downtown... Restaurants and entertainment close by. Very good option for a home base to see around Seattle and outlying areas. Comfortable beds... Linens... Very nice.. City view night or day is amazing...

CanadaNeeds some upgrades around calking in the bathroom and replace worn furnishings. Picture of the pool made it look bigger than actual size. What made the rating go really down was the unorganized breakfast area. No leadership, worst coffee in my life. It was quite chaotic. Staff tried to be friendly but there was no leadership.
Friendly front desk staff, upgraded to upper floor. Spacious room. Great location.

United StatesThe rooms are not noise proof at all, and it doesn't help that guests are not mindful or considerate and walk around the halls to the elevator yelling at 3 a.m. The website needs to be updated because I specifically remember looking up the housekeeping hrs. and the website said 24hr service but when I called for an extra blanket, the person at the front desk told me that next time I had to call during housekeeping hrs, but they would still take me the blanket I requested this one time. I asked for an extra blanket because the one in my closet was dusty. There were bugs in the restroom and on the second day after they cleaned, they took the only hand soap they provided and didn't replace it so I was left with no soap for the rest of my stay. They also left the dusty blanket and placed another one on top of the safe which was full of dust as well, making that blanket dusty too. Out of the three days I stayed, I went down for breakfast twice and both times the waitress/hostess ignored me until I approached her more closely and she was rude both days. She told me she was too busy to get to everyone when I told her my to-go order had been sitting there for 40 minutes and the second day, I asked if I could just grab it to not bug her since she told me the day before that she was too busy to get to everyone, and she responded by saying no because she hadn't taken my order so I had to wait for the other waitress to hand it to me even though she had already called my room to tell me I could come down and grab my order. I noticed both days that she just ignores as many guests because she looks overwhelmed and overstimulated by everyone and everything. Besides that, I also found it unfair that check-in isn't until 4pm but check out is at 11 a.m. It doesn't make sense.
The continental breakfast was a nice inclusion and the woman at the bar around 6 was very sweet. The hotel is in a well-centered location near many attractions which is convenient.
