You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Small bathroom, the ac unit turned to heat if the thermostat was above 70. The air freshener in the lobby was overwhelming for my party.
Beds and bedding were fantastic. Front desk staff were amazing. Housekeeping was great.

There was no reason for coffee or tea to cost money. There should be some sort of free option for breakfast considering the price. No microwave in the room was a shock as well.
I appreciated the availability of the bar/ordering food. The rooms were decent enough, with clean sheets and friendly staff. Especially behind the bar.

Bed was hard, restaurant staff terrible, food cold, drink orders wrong and high ball glasses half full. Breakfast over priced for what you’d get across the street at ampton for free, terrible hours for te in house Starbucks. Front desk staff ok but not good or great by any means

Breakfast could be a little cheaper, since I only ever had one plate from the buffet. It tasted great though!
Easy to check in, easy to check out. It was more of a drop everything off and leave and come back to sleep. Real close to Metro so getting around was easy.

The hotel is nice, but the rooms could use some better decoration. Also the elevators were not working (2 put of 3) but they couldn’t solve it for 2 days. I was on the 9th floor, so it could take up to 15 minutes to go up or down…
Basically I chose it for the location.

The hotel is outdated and in need of some renovation. Of the three lifts there was only one working which is unacceptable for the whole week.

Wished there was more of an offering at the hotel for a breakfast and/or lunch as the restaurant did not open until 4pm.
Location to the airport and the complimentary shuttle to/from was wonderful. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Two of the three elevators were not working but was assured they were being worked on and they worked within a few hours. No issue there. Room was clean and met expectations. The BONUS was the 12pm checkout as my flights were being continually changed/cancelled due to weather so I could adjust my alarm clock and roll over the day of departure. Starbucks Coffee in the hotel!!! The restaurant dinner/drinks were wonderful. Excellent service! Casual atmosphere and never felt rushed. TV's had the football games on and the volume was still at a level to hear and also enjoy your company/meal.

There weren't many dining options close by. Of course, you can use Doordash or Uber Eats but the taxes and fees are almost as much as the food itself, and doesn't seem worth it.
My room was very comfortable---the bed was fab and I slept like a baby. The desk was also great, as I spent quite a bit of time at it working. The bathroom was clean, well-maintained, and well-supplied. And the Starbucks on the mezzanine level was very convenient. Also, I had dinner at the restaurant on the ground floor once during my stay (Potomac Social) and what I had was pretty darn good. The hotel is also well-located---there's an Amazon Fresh literally on the next block and a Whole Foods about 3 blocks in the other direction. Also, there's a cinema a block away.

A pool would have been nice.
Parking was available however a bit expensive. Easy to get to Washington via subway Quiet location. Felt safe. Close to grocery shop

Breakfast-- too expensive for the basic breakfast
The booking said "breakfast was including" but we ended up paying $22 PER PERSON for the standard hotel continental breakfast. I was not impressed with this part. The room was very nice and the beds were comfy. We were unable to do early check in and had to wait around to be able to check in. The one staff member at the front desk was not very friendly with us during check in but everyone else was fine. The hotel bar/restaurant was a bit pricey. We spent $115.00 for two people (not including the tip).
