Man...if yall read my reviews, you know me. Im EEEEEeeaaaasssyyy. "Basics Bart". If you're super snooty, skip my review. Here's whats up: Leavenworth, Washington. AT CHRISTMAS. Yeah, Sparky...good luck with that. BUT...lo and behold, I found this place, ten minute drive from Leavenworth, clean room, comfy bed, friendly staff. Restaurant, coffee stand, and C-store within walking distance. What more do you need? And at THIS price point? Cmon man. You want flash and twenty-seven amenities and a full service coffee bar and all those Grazer comforts? Knock yourself out. I aint that guy. CLEAN. COMFY. SAFE. FRIENDLY PEOPLE. Happy Bart...

One thing that I didn’t like was the door handles felt unsafe to me but everything was pretty quiet at night

It was a little farther out of Leavenworth (which is where I was traveling to) than I expected but not at all inconvenient (was about a 7 minute drive).

Great hospitality, cleanliness and location, couldn’t ask for more at this price. They even let us checkin a bit early, we reached at 2:30 and actual checkin time is 4 pm.

Parking was to be available at a sliding door just outside our room, but because of snow banks blocking our parking area, we had to park around the corner, where our vehicle was not visible.

The room was clean and comfortable. Our stay was short, so we didn't have time to explore the area, but this motel is only 5 miles from Leavenworth, WA, which was our final destination, and the price was well below any in facilities in Leavenworth. Staff was friendly and helpful.

There is no elevator, but I already knew that; however, if the manager suggests the back entry and you are a senior, don't use it. The stairs are extremely steep, and the steps are narrow. I had trouble getting my suitcase up the stairs due to that fact. It was difficult; whereas the stairs from the reception area are much shorter and much easier to use. They are still stairs, but less ladderlike. I was able to get my suitcase down without issue. The reception area was a bit strange because the front office was fronted with glass with a security pass through. The hotel access is off the middle of Highway 2 but once you know where it is it's easy to find.

I was attending a conference in Leavenworth. The venue at which the conference was held was way too expensive and I opted to find a place to stay within a short distance from the conference site for a more reasonable price. This hotel was perfect. It was within 15 minutes of Leavenworth. The management was extremely friendly as well as being professional. The manager told me how to get to my venue without having to go through downtown Leavenworth, which shortened my trip as well as saving time. The hotel was clean, the room was larger than expected and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The bathrooms were very clean and updated: sparkling shower, no sloppy caulking or old tiles. The view outside the window was of a farm and I enjoyed watching the sheep grazing. What I needed was a place to sleep and this hotel provided that at a reasonable rate in a resort area where lodging can be quite expensive. If you're not looking for a spa or resort hotel experience; but wish to take advantage of day hikes or other outside day activities in the area, visit the German village, see the Christmas village in winter, go on sleigh rides, check out Cashmere's candy factory, etc., this hotel provides a place to sleep that is clean and comfortable.

Comfy beds, hot showers with great water pressure, clean rooms, friendly staff, I loved waking up with the sheep and rooster out back behind the hotel. And it's conveniently located right down the road from downtown Leavenworth. I would recommend this place.
