Needs updating, the wardrobe in the room was broken, there were stains on the ceiling, and the wallpaper was peeling and just old. Pricing is not competitive and the deposit regime should be scrapped

There were few black ants on the wash basin. Unpleasant smell in the bathroom but not so bad at all.

Coffee, tea, hot water, microwave were all available at the reception. Good and safe location, very near at the bus stop. Staff were all good. The room and double bed were clean and good enough to rest.

The cleaning ladies phone ringing loudly at 7am on the weekend outside my room. The furniture is tired and would benefit from being replaced.

There is a lot to like about Windsor Inn. Compared to other hotels it is reasonably priced, the staff are friendly and helpful, the room was a good size, shower was hot and there was always coffee and tea available in reception. They also have a left luggage option. The hotel is on a bus route with regular buses into the centre of town, which is a 20-30 min walk away.

Staff was very friendly. They also kept our luggage until check-in and after check-out. The location was perfect. The White House is just a 20/25 min walk down the street. The hotel and room are a little old and outdated but everything works fine.

Excellent value. Room was clean and location worked really well for me. My room was slightly noisy because the window looked into an internal courtyard that tended to amplify noise. The main thing you should know is that there is no elevator so all rooms are accessible by stairs. Staff were very helpful .

It's a dated facility, no elevator, and some rooms are in the basement (luckily ours was on the 2nd floor, which was level ground).

There was no breakfast, just coffee and hot water 24/7 (which was a plus). Location was excellent, and that was the reason I booked this hotel: 1) there are many cafes / restaurants around, open from 7 AM onwards, 2) it was within walking distance from all the major attractions. If you are content with that, I would highly recommend it.

The room is not the cleanest and furniture and facilities are extremely old.

The hotel has a small garden in front which can be used for a fresh breeze since windows in the rooms are sealed shut. Staff are nice and helpful. Free coffee and tea in the lobby.

Having to go up and down the stairs every time was not great, it makes the place not accessible even though they have rooms on the ground floor.

Very nice location, beautiful neighbourhood. The staff were very friendly and there was always someone available. The room was comfortable, the bed was ok. The cleaning service was great, they left the room super tidy every time.

The bathroom was exceptionally cramped and the shower really needed to be updated. The room heat control was less than ideal. And there was no lamp at the work desk, which definitely needed extra illumination.

The hotel is quiet, and the beds were clean and comfortable. The room was dated, but quite clean.

The room was certainly smaller than it seemed online, it was pretty thin walls so fairly noisy from the city. Peeling paint in several places gave the impression that the room wasn't super well maintained.

Location was close to the major attractions in DC so that was great. Room was clean, staff was pleasant. It looked like there was free coffee in the lobby, but I didn't partake.
