눉Was very disappointed! We had issues with a particular member of the hotel concierge. We mapped out 2 days’ worth of attractions and what we wanted to do when for our stay at New Orleans. My partner went to the concierge to see if they could help book them in as we didn’t have a US phone. The guy went through our itinerary and advised we should swap things around and offered us these 'great deals', he explained they get these prices due to affiliation with the Wyndham group as I asked the guy straight out what’s the catch? He replied with you just have to come down for breakfast (free of charge) and listen to a 30 min presentation, as we were saving $130 I thought why not. Next morning we come down and he advised we have to get into a bus to go to the place for breakfast (we thought it was at the hotel, so thought this was odd). We get there and they request forms to be filled out and swiped our card for the attraction vouchers $255 US. After we get called into the room where the breakfast was serve (absolutely disgusting breakfast), another guy sits in front of us and asks ’do you know why you’re here?’ I replied ‘yeah to listen to a 30 min presentation and pick up our attraction tickets’. He advised that was incorrect and in fact it was a 1.5 hours and was a sales presentation on time share for a new Wyndham property. I advised we didn’t have that kind of time we were only in New Orleans for 2 full days we had planned activities to do before lunch and that we weren’t interested in time share. I was very annoyed as I asked the guy at the hotel what the catch was he had the opportunity to inform us then. Anyway we decided to leave, a manger came over and was quiet rude basically said you’re not getting your vouchers then and we would get a refund. Another guy there was a lot more polite and nice he organised us to get back to the hotel. Even the girls processing the refund weren’t friendly. Left an impression that the staff at Wyndham are very sour!

눉No major complaints. The lifts were a bit slow with a large group checking out (We were there on Jan 2, the day after the Sugar Bowl, so it was really busy) but it's not that big a deal. Just a bit of patience. The view out our room was not much to speak of, but again, not really a problem.
눇Really friendly staff who went out of their way to be helpful. The hotel is in a busy part of the French Quarter, but not on Bourbon Street so it's not too crazy. Had a pleasant stay, comfy beds, and all the facilities we needed for an overnight stay. I'd stay here again.
