Its quite confusing to know if you are booking with or without a window. The bar and pool area are nice but not staffed. But otherwise totally wonderful stay!

The room was effectively internal with no outside window which I would have preferred, the lobby can become very cold dependent on the weather outside so it not always a pleasant place to sit

Drinks very expensive. They have a lovely roof bar but no one goes there. Give discounts to people staying would help.

Location is terrific. Across from the lake but not in the noisy area. It’s beautiful inside the lobby. The huge shower is great too.

The lobby and therefore also the restaurant on floor 2 (atrium style) were very cold (deep freeze experience). Hanoi had a cold spell and it made its way into the hotel. But this was the only downside of our stay.

We staid in the Apricot for 5 nights (Junior Suite). The room was spacious and quiet. Good bed, modern bathroom. The staff was always friendly, cheerful and helpful. They helped us organize two private tours in the area. The breakfast buffet was very nice and offered many options of food. The location is excellent - right in the middle of the old town with Lake Hoan Kiem in immediate proximity. There is a selection of good restaurants nearby, whereby the food of the hotel restaurant is also very nice. We would book the Apricot again anytime.

On the first morning we were woken by weird intermittent thumping and groaning as if someone was dragging furniture or similar in the room above. We therefore moved to a similar room on the 3rd floor which had shutters which if opened rather exposed you to the street below. Also at this level the trees blocked the view of the lake. Not worth paying the extra for a room with lake view.

We had a double room with lake view on the 8th floor. You can see the lake, but trees rather interrupt the view. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Location is very good for walking to restaurants and Hoa La prison (recommended).

Extremely helpful staff assisted us with short notice travel plans over the New Year period. We would have been stuck without their help (Jenny, in particular). Also loved the art collection in the public spaces.

The lake view from the room was from the windows in the bathroom, which is a bit inconvenient. There was no smart TV in the room. The buffet breakfast could have included more varieties of food.

We got upgraded to a room with a lake view, so that was a good start! Excellent location. Very comfortable bed and facilities. The staff at the concierge was very friendly and helpful. The freshly made Vietnamese coffee served at breakfast was one of the best we have tasted in Vietnam!

Stayed one night so it is quite likely that a less than desirableroom was allocated to us. There was a very loud hvac, cooling system noise from 6am till 9pm in room 901, advise anyone who wants a good night sleep to avoid this room.

The Hotel is located most centrally in front of the lake and close to the Town centre and activities. The Staff are very professional and dedicated and go out of the way to ensure the guests are well looked after.
