How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There's only one thing in this hotel I would change and that is, the WIFI. I tried getting some work done while there but had to go to the lobby (and buy a drink) in order to get good internet. The internet in the room was poor.
The hotel was lovely. The bed was very comfy and big! The size of the room was good and very clean. I loved the rooftop pool. I like that the hotel was well-maintained. I ordered room service for dinner most nights and it was great and super fast. The location is the best. Close to just about everything. Staff was attentive. I would recommend and would definitely stay again.

Pool sun beds—-only 9 available—not enough for a hotel of this size, no lounger seats, seems there is more space allocated to rooftop bar, this area should be cleared to allow more casual sitting for pool during daylight hours then resort back to bar seating for evenings

An excellent 4-star hotel that meets the criteria of a 5-star hotel. The location is excellent, many sights can be seen even on foot. I highly recommend the hotel.The cafe on the ground floor of the hotel is excellent with a great selection of coffee and food.

The bathroom had the shower within a bath which was not great for me as I have a dodgy knee, so I felt a bit wonky navigating the step out over the bath rim.
The location was excellent, walking distance to bars, restaurants, markets and shops. The room was modern and well equipped. Can't comment on breakfast as it wasn't included in our package, so we enjoyed the local pho which was close by.

Our room was on 6th floor and on the street side so we could hear the traffic noise very clearly. If you are a light sleeper this might definitely be a problem for you.
The breakfast must be mentioned here as it was excellent! The large variety definitely made sure there was somehting for everybody and the food was of good quality. The room was spacious and clean. The customer service was friendly and polite and the pool was a nice addition.

The coffee at breakfast :-)
Perfect location in the center of Saigon. Very nice pool bar on the roof top. SPA and gym are also there. Rooms are clean and spacious. Very good breakfast buffet.

All good.
Great hotel. Central location. Bar and food superb. All staff helpful and friendly. Well worth the price paid. Walking distance from Opera House, Union Square and markets. We were there for chinese New Year which helped a magnificent vibe in the city centre!!

I wanted to stay 1 week longer. Asked downstairs how much that would cost, almost a 100% increase?! Compared to what I had already paid. Maybe a popular time? For the same money I booked a 5 star hotel.
2nd time I've stayed here. Staff very good, rooms large and clean. Massage was good and roof terrace with pool always nice.

It’s expensive as compared to other options in vicinity

There was a lot of outside noise. Not a big fan of having to draw a curtain when you are in the bathroom- a full length window through to the room seems to be fairly common in Vietnam.
Location was perfect for downtown, and the rooftop pool was a lifesaver in the hot afternoon Room was good and the hotel and staff were great. The Compass Cafe about 20m away does great breakfast and western coffee.

Not a huge fan of the showers being in the bathtub . Air conditioning in lobby , it was very warm every time I was in the lobby .

We had no complaints or concerns.
The location was great. Very central. The rooms were comfortable, neat and clean. The pool on the roof top was a welcome addition in the heat. It was well maintained, clean and refreshing. And the bar on the roof top was a great location for a afternoon drink. The staff were very friendly, polite and attentive. A great stay.
