Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ChinaHotel is bit hard to find
The hotel is in the centre of the city and is very convenient to travel. The service attitude of the hotel is very good. Especially Jimmy, who offer breakfast service at the hotel, was very warm. The room is relatively small but clean.

United KingdomOnly down point was that we didn't realise we had to pay for the snacks in our room (we didn't see a price list so we thought it was complementary - unless our jet lagged brains missed it!) so we had a bit of a surprise paying for that when checking out.
Really excellent little hotel tucked away in the centre of district 1, only a 5 minute walk from the Opera House, City Hall and Square. The staff went out of their way to make us feel settled in and gave us a complementary cold drink on arrival (which was appreciated after our long journey!). Very clean and comfortable room that was nice and surprisingly quiet given the location,

Great location in District 1, quaint tucked away from the craziness of the big city, but walkable to many restaurants and attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Breakfast has good choice and different dishes were explained when asked. Location was great, handy for all the central sites and being tucked away down an alley off main streets meant it was an oasis of calmness.

ItalyJust need to be aware that the hotel is hidden in a small alley - which can be quite empty and dark in the night. Regarding services, the laundry service is limited and it seems like they cannot accommodate out-of-hour requests
The location was great! Right in the middle of the city next to the central market and opposite Saigon Centre (shopping centre). Everything was within walking distance. Staff was nice and welcoming, mostly helpful.

GermanyOur room was very small and had no windows. So it is probably a good idea to upgrade to a better and bigger room.
Nice small hotel off a very big city street. Only a few steps away from 8-lane-traffic but very quiet. The hotel had no rooftop terrace, but we could sit half outside in the evening (first table up front in the breakfast room) and that was nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

NetherlandsOnly negative point we experienced was booking the taxi via the hotel. On our departure day we had to catch a flight early in the morning, and hence used the hotel taxi service (25 USD) to pre-book a taxi to the airport to avoid the possibility of not finding a driver early in the morning via Grab. The 25USD fee is quite high compared to booking a taxi ourselves (e.g. via grab), but offered the security we needed. Unfortunately in the morning of our departure the taxi didn’t arrive on time, we waited for over 20 minutes, after which we luckily managed to book a grab and go to the airport ourselves. While quite inconvenient as you expect a hassle free morning, the fee was appropriately paid back to us. Since this isn’t part of the ‘normal’ booking this doesn’t influence our rating of the place. However, when you offer a certain service you have to make sure it actually delivers, as people count on it.
Very good location with helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Room was slightly small, but since this is clearly mentioned on the booking page / pictures this didn’t surprise us.

CanadaThe alley location was quiet but you don't get a nice view if that is what you are looking for. Didn't bother us though.
Staff were extremely helpful. We stayed in a deluxe room with balcony and found it to be quite comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and service was outstanding. The hotel is in a central location and easy to walk to many of the sites in District 1.

GermanyMost of the staff does not speak english, but you get by.
Breakfast was ok and their coffee quite good. The location is right in the center and there is a western style shopping mall accross the street (if you need something - cash exchange, sim cart ...). The biggest benefit of staying at the little saigon boutique hotel is that it is located within a patio that keeps most of the noice from the streets out. I also booked a room with balcony, what is always quite nice after a long day to the city and surrounding areas (you can watch a bike rental from there until late in the night, what I found quite interesting)

CanadaThe only issue was Findlay the place. It is on Avery narrow street. You have to pay attention to the map that is on Booking.Com website. Google maps gives you the wrong directions. The taxi drivers do not know where it is

United KingdomThe rooms are really small which was fine as a solo traveller but would be less ideal as a couple. Also there isn’t great ventilation in the bathroom so the room got a bit damp after showering. There is also a lot of noise and the rooms don’t have great sound proofing! I could hear everything in the corridor at night despite wearing ear plugs

The location was really nice, close to restaurants, stores and everything on walking distance. No need to order a Grab. Staying at this hotel gives you a feeling like you're truly a VIP-guest because the staff treat you extremely well. Very serviceminded. Breakfast is OK, enough to choose.

Lovely hotel in a great location tucked down a quiet alleyway. Comfy bed, blackout curtains, great hot water, cool AC. Housekeeping does a great job with cleaning the room. Kelly at reception was wonderful, very helpful and accommodating. Breakfasts downstairs with Ricky & the rest of the nice staff were good with Pho and Omelette options available. Ben Thanh market, amazing street food hall, Imperial Palace, Ho Chi Min Museum all within walking distance. We would definitely stay here on our next trip to Saigon.
