There is no wi-fi in the room and the bed wasn't the most comfortable in the world. There are a lot of beggars on the other side of the fence, so if you leave the property to go to the beach, you will need to get passed them (and they don't leave you alone)

We chose the budget option, and that's what we got. The room is small, no TV or wi-fi, but it is very clean, the water pressure in the shower was amazing, and I felt very safe there. The staff is very friendly, specially the people working in the restaurant/bar. The food was plenty and very delicious. The location is really good, right at the beach, and it's a short walk from there to the Hole in a Wall.

We booked at a group, but at arrival, they messed up the booking and did not want to accommodate us. Then they did a shift change, and Zandile Vilakazi made it possible for us to have a great time. Connie Somgidi also went out of her way to help with everything. The stuff is not very accommodating unless you get the ones that wi go out off their way. The we booked 4 rooms, 3 off the rooms windows was broken and was replaced with carton. The wind came straight through it. The Maintance on the property is very much needed.

The vibe is so chilled... the freedom... the sea... the restaurant and that it is in a closed place.

The road was not great. A lot of gravel road if you don't drive via coffee bay. Warning to all please be careful regarding stray animals on the road!!!

The bedding had stains on it. Some of the window handles were broken off. Our front sliding door was broken. The kitchen tap was broken. And what is very concerning is that the gas bottle is inside the chalet(Not outside!!!) and even worse it was leaking gas. If we didn’t smell it, I do not even want to think about what could have happened if we went to sleep…One is not permitted to bring your pets YET there are stray dogs trying to come into your place, I could not even leave the door open so we had to barricade it. They were literally sitting and waiting for a crumb to drop, and then would fight among each other, that frightened my children. During Loadshedding the generator only worked once. When the power went off, we had no signal. And the last day we were without signal for no reason. There is absolutely no communication from the staff. Cupboards smelled wet. Shop inside is overpriced, no way I am going to pay R25 for a small chocolate. Beds were uncomfortable and just in general felt unsafe. And the roads that lead up to the place is terrible. Did not like the price for food and drinks. You drive to Coffee bay and then get a price difference of almost. 30 to 20 rand. And it was always dirty at the bar and restaurant. Not enough staff they busy behind the bar and dont clean the tables afterwards.

The upkeep of the accommodation units need attention. The locals tend to be a bit irritating, trying to sell you crayfish and fresh sea food.

The wifi did not work despite going to reception three times and being told I would get feedback. There was blood stain on the sheets in main bedroom. The fact that the restaurant is the only one to go to in the area, means that the menu could be bigger or specialise in the menu you do have. Food was average.

The room could have been cleaner. There were quite a few people hanging around outside the fence line that made me feel uncomfortable.

The location of it was good - it was really the only option in the location. The facility seemed fairly safe.

The prices on the bar and food is very expensive. Not what you would expect at this type of resort. The quality of the food was good but just over priced in my opinion.

Venue was great, it was clean and the staff were on the ball. We had an issue with the earth leakage in our unit but once reported to the reception, maintenance was there very quickly and sorted out the issue

Bar prices were absolutely ludicrous, not all guests are foreigners that can afford those prices. The staff looked extremely unhappy and were very unfriendly.

Absolutely gorgeous views from our doorstep! Our accommodation was clean, every room was spacious and water pressure was divine. Will definitely be back again! We stayed at Bayview Nr 2.
