The setting is incredible; you can easily walk around and observe a wide variety of animals. Bernadette is incredibly kind and helpful. I was traveling alone, and she provided me with all the support I needed. I would definitely repeat the experience and recommend it to others!

The place was great. The host was very welcoming and kept on checking us, made sure we were okay. The location was good near the river, we could some animals. We will definitely go back. The place was clean, nothing to complain about. The host even upgraded our room free of charge. 😊

Bernadette as been outstanding as a host . She makes you feel like family and this is very appreciable. Otherwise the location is very well situated next to the River and the animals are within touching distance so to say. The rooms are comfortable JF the kitchen well equipped. The roads around Marloth park are pretty average however it slows you down so you see even more animals so not a bad thing at all.

Bernadette and her team are super friendly and welcoming. The room was massive and very comfortable and the location is very cool. So close to the river to walk and see the Hippos, Kudu, Mongoose, Impala and more. Bernadette was more than happy to help and answer every question i had even before and after my stay. Will gladly stay there again.

It's a wonderful place, the name suits it perfectly. So relaxing, so beautiful both the interior and of course surroundings, all those animals, it's just amazing! Bernadette is a wonderful host, so kind and so knowledgeable about animals. We had a fantastic (too short) stay ❤️

Only the bathroom/toilet situation is a bit awkward as it's not closed fully.

We loved our stay at the lodge, the room was big yet cosy and the bed super comfortable! Just be prepared to hear everything your partner does in the toilet, as the wall isnt fully closed ;) But Bernadette as a host made it all the more great, she was so kind and attentive and made us feel so welcome. She even took the time to drive to meet us in the evening, as the dirt roads were in terrible condition after the heavy rains at the time. I'd highly recommend stating at Serenity for a relaxing and amazing holiday, close to one of the entrances to Kruger as well so locationwise also fab.

Nothing, except for the stairs as I had a toddler I was just nervous he might fall. But all went well

The host, from arrival to departure, the lady takes great care of her guests, I've traveled but have never experienced such hospitality. You are doing a great job keep it up. The place, whaoo it was breathtaking I really enjoyed my stay and my kids ask when can we go back. The cleaning staff they are very good the place is always spotless, air-conditioning working very well. The animals roaming around while you having brakefast or chilling by the pool site loved it.

There was nothing we didn’t like

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. We loved every moment at this property. It was very clean and so well kept - can see a lot of thought and time went into making us feel welcome and ensuring that we will have a wonderful stay - and we only stayed for one night! The friendly, helpful and welcoming staff made our stay excellent. The rooms are nice and spacious, there is a small refreshing swimming pool to take a dip. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for any kind of home cooked meal. Many friendly animals came to visit us during our stay as well!

The property was beautiful and clean. The owner was one of the friendliest people I have ever met, and she was extremely helpful in recommending restaurants and places to see. There is a lot of wildlife around the lodge, and there is a nice walk along the river nearby where you can spot elephants and other animals in Kruger.
