We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomAccess to the pool is a spiral staircase 2 flights down, which I couldn’t do as a woman with an ankle replacement. I booked the hotel because it had a pool as I swim a lot but I did not even go to the pool because of the stairs. No back up generator during load shedding so you can be stuck for a few hours without electricity

South AfricaAbsolutely NO facilities. No restaurant, no bar, no ice, no drinks, no snacks, no vending machine, just nothing. It really is very disappointing for them to not at least have a vending machine? That would cost them nothing and guests would be very happy too. Its truly terrible. And channels are limited for kids. They should invest in smart tvs and get disney or netflix. They used to be amazing with a restaurant and bar but now it is much better to go to a hotel that at least offers guest something. Not worth the price at all.

BotswanaReminding constantly customers that they will be charged in case they stain bedsheet and towels spoil the excitement of the stay. The message on the wall should be removed. We had to be careful on anything we touched especially since we had a 2 years old baby. We simply decided not to spend much time at the place. This policy should be revised to make the customers feel welcome and at ease. Electricity stability got worse and worse in SA; though this is not the fault of the hotel’s management. This results in us skipping breakfast some days.
The location was central ; closer to the mall and safe. The staff was very helpful especially the doorman. They helped all the time to take stuff up to our room. The place was cleaned on a regular basis.

South AfricaThe DSTV didn’t work and the remote seemed to need new batteries. I was a bit upset that the beds were actually 2 single beds pushed together and not a king sized bed like advertised. We were a bit annoyed as the other guests were making a lot of noise past 10pm and we were struggling to get some sleep. There were no bowls in the kitchen set so we had to eat our breakfast out of the mugs which was a bit unpleasant.
Our bed was extremely comfortable and the room was lovely and clean. The staff organised rose petals to be laid out in the room for my boyfriend which was really special. The room had everything we needed so we were both very pleased.
