I did not like the fact that there is a carpet in the room and the room could use a bit of an upgrade. Especially the TV.

The staff service could be a bit better, (more attentive & friendly) at the hotel restaurant. Housekeeping also didn't leave the allocated towels and water as required in our room, however it was rectified after calling them.

It was such a beautiful stay, so serene. Our room had a garden view and was just perfectly situated. Loved that it was so clean and the bath was a spacious area.

Grace at reception was excellent. She upgraded our rooms to more modern rooms without hesitation. Our stay was great and the Mowana Spa the next morning is greatly recommended. Breakfast at the spa and treatments were excellent. The wine and chocolate pairing at the Taste Room also met our expectations. Supper at the Kings Boma was not great. Maybe because it was during the week and a bit later in the evening. The waitress was amazing, but the variety was not what we expected and experienced at the same restaurant on previous visits.

I was initially allocated another room when I got there there were ants in the bathroom and the lady at reception was very great and allocated me a different room that was nice and big. In the room there is a coffee machine and unfortunately it was not working and I could not make it room coffee or tea because there was also no kettle in the room.

The property is overall recovering well from the last time I was there. The room I stayed in was clean and spacious- could do with a sofa but liked everything.

The hotel's airport shuttle wanted to charge R750 one way and would be picking up other passengers, so I think that was a bit excessive. I had a comfort uber from the airport for R550, all to myself, without any trouble and uberGo back was R300. TV reception was poor and not a lot of choice.

I had a lovely dinner on the deck listening to the birdsong. The fish and chips was good but not great. It was the beautiful garden setting and a decent sized mojito that made it special. Nice big, clean room. Comfy bed. Coffee making fascilities and had a hot chocolate.

The wifi was advertised to be available everywhere on the property. This was not my experience in block 5.

The location was excellent and central. The food at the Boma and conference centre was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were comfy.

The greenery in the place was amazing. Makes the environment very relaxing. Love the fact that there is a spa in the property and was able to do my spa treatments at night.
