Where do I start...? Errol and Venita immediately made us feel at home. They are such lovely hosts! Always happy to help you and give you advice. The premises are beautiful, very nice pool, beautiful garden, ... The honesty bar is magnificent. Beautifully decorated, very clean, ... The room was huge, very nice, quiet, ... There are nice restaurants around. You won't regret staying here! We will be back!

its a matter of personal taste but the "open shower" makes the whole floor in the bathroom wet.

Location in a quiet area of the town. The beautiful garden and serene environment. breakfast was made with such care and personal touch. Everything was so fresh if handpicked from the garden. Their personal touch and helpfulness made it a home from home.

Best accomodation of the whole trip. Errol and Venita are wonderful and amazing people. Beautiful pension. Hospitality cannot be greater. Unfortunately we just spent one night there. If you ever go to Oudtshoorn stay here. You will love it. Promised!

The accommodation is very comfortable and in a beautiful setting: the garden is a real oasis in Oudtshoorn and invites you to relax. The hosts are great, attentive and caring. We also appreciated their kindness and the little attentions towards our little girl.

Very much regretted that I had only booked a one night stay. Could easily have enjoyed a longer stay, both at La Pension and in the area.

An excellent stay in a beautiful property with a delightful garden and pool. Venita and Errol are the perfect hosts and made the stay very enjoyable and relaxing. Their recommendations and suggestions were very much appreciated and the SA v Wales rugby chat with Errol was great. Lovely breakfast. An unexpected added bonus to the stay was the opportunity for a Yoga / Thai Massage with Nikita. Excellent secure parking.

La Pension Guest House is a little and beautiful Oasis in Oudtshoorn. Errol and Venita are the perfect hosts, very welcoming and we felt directly like home. The guest house has a beautiful garden with a pool and a beautiful open bar, where the guests are invited to drink and stay and where the delicious breakfast is served as well. We had a great time chatting with Errol and Venita as well with the other guests in a very relaxing and charming atmosphere. Venita gave us as well great recommendations and helped us with the reservation for the caves. We had an amazing stay and were sorry to leave so soon. Definitely we’d like to come back. Thank you, Venita and Errol, for sharing your little paradise with us and many greetings also to Ruby, the cats and the chicken :)

I can't recommend this Guest House and Venita any higher. The house and gardens are absolutely stunning! Great pool and amazing bar area. Venita was the most fantastic host, so warm and friendly plus Ruby the dog made this the perfect stay. I wish we had stopped longer.
