There were lots of glitches like the stove was not working and the aircon remote was not working. But was fixed after requesting which was great.

Despite the promise that Wifi is still available during load shedding, that was not the case. In fact, the Wifi went down for several hours even outside of load shedding. Initially when checking in, it took 10+ minutes for someone to come to the desk despite multiple staff members walking passed. Restaurant was minorly dirty. We initially booked a larger room and asked for another room because it had a bad odour that didn't go away after opening windows. To the hotel's credit, they moved us immediately to another room, albeit smaller, which we didn't have a problem with.

Enjoyable stay. Decent location, good sized room with DStv, Wifi, enough storage space, air-conditioning and kettle.

The distance between the guests rooms and reception is a bit far. Same applies to the restaurant.

I didn't take the breakfast. I did go through the menu at the restaurant, it seems ok to me. The location is very good. Very quiet area. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Very impersonal service, no one is really bothered about you or anything really. And seriously, 2 eggs on roll and coffee breakfast costing R150! Madness! Such a lovely setting and location but no one does anything to make you feel welcome or even just happy that there are guests. Broken items i.e. a flaming hairdryer reported, but no one seemed too bothered bout it. Not a good feel to service im the place. So sad.

We had a problem with ants in our room, & they bit us. When we complained about it the lady Marion at reception just said oh yes we know about that problem

The room was self-catering equiped, well fitted with everything you need. The interior is just old fashion but still good value for money.

The whole property is in need of maintenance, it is a little rundown. The food from the restaurant was was very underwhelming and quite pricey. We ordered toasted sandwhiches to have in the room and they got the order wrong twice. The food was also cold

Restaurant did not serve the best quality food. The TV only had local channels and no Network TV was offered. The shower door was broken a bit and did not portray a well kept facility.

Location was good and the bed was spacious and I slept well.

I booked the executive suite and asked for a cot which I was emailed that it would be all ready however when we checked in we had no cot and we were in a loft not the executive suite, when questioned the one man at the front desk just said its basically the same. The rest of the staff were however friendly and helpful. Next time I'd like to get the room I actually booked.

There was only 1 fridge in 1 of the 2 rooms booked. There was no view of a garden, but we also did not spend enough time in the room for it to negatively impact the room. Coffee station could be "upgraded."

Clean and very comfortable. Staff was welcoming and thoughtful. They had our air-condition running upon our arrival on a hot day. Overall it was a very satisfying experience.

The gardens and outer walls of the building could be neater. The little fridge in the room could not keep the ice from melting, especially during loadshedding.

The room was very nice. The location of the property was very good for my visit. The staff was very friendly and helpful, also in the restaurant.

Property Standards are dropping. Cleanliness. Staff do not assist you to your room they give the key and expect you to know where all rooms are. Staff member eventually assisted me, looked as if he was just helping out and possibly worked in the restaurant, i paid cash and he asked if i want my change.

The noise from the room next door. The walls are paper thin and battled to sleep all night with the severe snoring of the person in the room next to me.

We visited twice before and the cost was still aligned but what we got felt watered down. The electrics in the room was weird and we struggled to get everything on, the Light fitting at the bedside was flickering and had to be on to use the usb so I had to unskrew the bulb. Breakfast was messy. We made use of the buffet and the food was cold, milk was off and there was no butter. When I asked about it, I was told it was finished. Sorry for the feedback but do not think it was up to your expected standards
