Bathroom needs some maintenance, toiletflush isn't working properly, towel holder fell of the wall.

Good breakfast, staff friendly, pool fresh and clean. We had a good deal because we booked the same day but wouldn't pay R2100. Garden is beautiful.

Sadly after coming to this lodge for many years, I felt that the general maintenance and garden has been left lacking. The sunken bar that reminded us of being in Zanzibar or else where has furniture reupholstered in a bright red imitation leather and it has sadly changed the look and feel of the bar... gardens also haven't been maintained as they had in the past. The rooms are still lovely, I think perhaps a little over priced, location excellent to proximity of the Phalaborwa Kruger gate. Would I stay here again, probably not.

After looking at the menu we decided to eat dinner out rather than at the lodge. Breakfast was standard.

That you don't have braai area, and after a lot of money we spend to buy meat we had to pay another R250 for the chef to braai for us. I thought maybe u can offer pap but hey we had to also pay for it. It was a bitter learning curve.

Beauty and Patricia gave us best massage at Spa, we came with meet didn't know that you don't have braai area but chef of the night done our meat better than how we could have done it.

The room was nice and cozy. There's also an outside sitting area, a clean public pool. They have one of the best locations.

The lodge gave a vibe of being at an island. The food served and music played at the pool area was awesome! The chalets overlooked a river which added to the tranquility. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had booked 2 rooms: I stayed in Heron and my kids at Serval. I must say that in terms of housekeeping, Serval was more looked after. The TV in Heron was breaking, I called and reported it but no one came to sort it out, the showering soaps were depleted in their dispensers but they didn't bother to fill them up to top it all there was no phone to report, I had to go to Serval to call reception. To me it felt like the room wasn't to be issued since it wasn't in order, it was only issued because I requested to be close to my kids. I was a bit reluctant to complain about things because I didn't want us to be separated and also I felt that those are obvious, expected services, why should I tell someone to refill soap?

The place is wonderful, it has a lot of trees that give you a feeling like you are in another world, a peaceful world, far away from the busyness of life.

Our toilet was making a funny sound and the noise was very disturbing. We also found some leftover food in the room bin meaning it wasn’t properly cleaned. The service at the restaurant was extremely slow all 3 times we were there.

The facilities of the place and its close proximity to Kruger National Park. The massage we got at the in-house spar was the highlight

The accommodation is very beautiful. The staff is super friendly and very patient.

The Television in the room needs upgrade with improved sound. Wash basin is needed in the barth room. Shower could do with a shelf for toiletries, and extra hooks to hang towels and wet swim wear.

The staff was amazing, friendly and helpful. They went the extra mile to make our stay pleasant. Love the premises, clean neat and beautiful. Kruger Park, restaurants and shopping centers was within 5km range.
