Best breakfast we had in South Africa. The hotel is close to the restaurants and we walked for the first time in or trip to a restaurant. In other regions in South Africa this was not recommended. We really liked the room and the beds were very comfortable.

The room is a bit on the small side and not very bright during the day. Also the blinds don’t fully block out the porch lights outside.

Don’t do bookings for Franschhoek-visits via the Guesthouse. One of the employees has her side business for tours in the area (which we found out only after the trip) and it is heavily overpriced.

Stunning unit, beautifully decorated and immaculate. Perfect for self catering or B & B. Secure parking right outside our door with remote controlled gate. Just loved everything about Corner House, hope to be back soon.

Nothing to dislike. We would prefer the rooms to be darker for sleeping. The room on the verandah was particularly light with security lights.

Beautiful place and lovely breakfast. Great position for walking around Franshoek. We particularly enjoyed the wine tasting with the very well informed lady.

It happened that I paid twice when I only tried to check booking. I would expect somebody to put 2 and 2 together. If you see anothet booking for the same person at the same time I would hope someone would have the intelligence to check with the customer. So in fact I ended up paying a huge amount of money. That was very disappointing.

What a gorgeous clean and spacious room we had. Pool area was quiet and there were sunny and shady areas. Breakfast area was really nice and the lovely staff even put out a small bottle of champagne for my birthday. Breakfast was incredible and highly recommend you book breaky as extra!

We wished we had a brighter room; there was not much light, and it felt dark.

The breakfast was good, and the location was central in Franschhoek; the manager was always around and eager to help us get the most out of our stay.

The bedroom window had wooden slatted blinds and unfortunately there was an outside light right outside our window , so the bedroom was lit up all night . I like to have darkness to sleep well ! The addition of a dark curtain would fix this easily !

Location , very pretty and quaint outside , but very modern , minimalist rooms inside . Not huge room , but more than adequate for a couple of nights stay . ours was Sauvignon Blanc. New modern en suite bathroom

Our room was dark necessitating having the lights on in the afternoon. Suggest changing the privacy curtains. Also no night light in our little outdoor area. Pity the dining area not open at night for guests to sit in when windy or raining

The place itself is very well appointed and high class. It’s quiet as well. My only complaint is it isn’t facing the mountains or some scenery, but it’s on a quiet road.
