I booked this hotel as a surprise for my mum's 60th birthday and the staff went above and beyond to ensure she and my dad had a memorable stay. She hasn't stopped raving about the exceptional service they received during their stay. The hotel was kind enough to upgrade them to the Palatial Suite and they were absolutely thrilled!! I cannot thank you enough for making their stay so special!

The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially Laura on the concierge, if we have remembered their name correctly. My partner and I were celebrating our anniversary and treated ourselves to the spa and its facilties. We ended up getting room service which was a first for us. The small details in the room; from the complimentary chocolates and note; the upgrade to champagne for our lunch due to our celebrations was a lovely touch. The breakfast spread was exceptional and definitely worth booking in for.

We had an upgrade so it was a very large room and bed and had a free mini bar supplying soft drinks - it was an anniversary trip and the staff had left a bottle of wine in an ice cooler and had put some swans made of towels with some petals on the bed for us - it was unexpected and a lovely surprise

I booked this as a stopover to break a long car journey having stayed there last Christmas. It was wonderful to have a swim in the lovely pool and to relax in the jacuzzi followed by an excellent dinner and a good night's rest before continuing my journey.

Lovely location. They gave us a free upgrade with a room overlooking the gardens which is definitely worth it. Drinks were okay and food we didnt try. The overall decor is nice, a bit dated but not terrible and not wondetful. Nice friendly staff and spa was nice if you want a hour in the pool jacuzzi etc.
