It was our second stay in this lovely B&B. The room is absolutely fantastic furnitured with empire furniture which gives you a feeling like being a Royal. Our room had a separate entrance and you can go and come as you please. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom has a beautiful shower. The host Helga is very friendly and helpful. Helga speaks even an excellent German and Norwegian. Lovely to hear about the family and the history of this old building. Breakfast is served in the family's dining room and it makes you feel like you are part of the family. The property is hidden away from the street and next to the church. It is absolutely quiet and in the morning you hear the birds sing.

For what I needed, i couldn't ask for better. I needed somewhere close to a party I was going to overnight and bed and breakfast. Originally there were 3 of my family but in the end it was just me. Three people bed and breakfast 80 quid. No better value. Hotel was clean room was spacious enough. Only thing was there were shared bathroom facilities for our budget room. There are rooms with ensuite so choose one of those if you need. Full choice of breakfast items, gluten free, vegan options. Definitely recommend. The beach is a minute away. and its right in the heart of town. It was winter so it was quiet. There are restos close by.

Everything! This is your quintessential pub stay in the garden of England. The quaintest little village. The pub is amazing, the food was incredible, we had dinner and breakfast. The people were so welcoming and friendly. The rooms are modern and decor lovely and the Chocolate Port in your room is a special touch. There’s nothing we didn’t like about the Duke William and we will be back.
