Iain was a very friendly host. Easy cycle ride distance into town, or good brisk walk,, over the river footbridge, and following a pedestrian route. Also good for access to North carpark side of Ben Nevis, which I wanted.

A very atmospheric place, with a warm, homely atmosphere created by the hosts and their ubiquitous dog. For us, staying in this place was a great rest after all-day trekking. The host is very helpful in every matter, whether it's choosing the optimal routes in relation to the weather :) or a restaurant for dinner, where, apart from recommending good cuisine, we received a 10% voucher! Owners friendly outgoing and very helpful with suggestions on things to see and do that you might not get in a guidebook. They also went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The property was beautifully kept spotlessly clean, well furnished. Proximity to town was perfect. Porch was especially fun to relax on and watch the world go by as the sun set over the loch.
