Excellent location in Keswick within 10mins walk to Derwentwater lake in one direction and to the high street in the other direction. Lovely view from our second-floor room over the golf course and the lake. Comfortable double bed and nice modern bathroom with strong hot shower. Great cooked breakfast, were not fazed by our request to change the eggs benedict bacon to salmon instead. Parking provided to the rear of the property. Staff were incredibly accommodating and allowed us to sit in their front room and use their Wifi 1400-1500 due to my partner needing to make an urgent work Teams call and the network in the Lake District can be quite spotty! Also very kindly allowed me to make a date change of the booking due to some car issues that prevented me from arriving for the original booked date, although within the non-refundable period on this website at the time.

A beautiful little hideaway in the Lake District, staff could not be more helpful - we were given the warmest welcome and tour of the house. Set amongst the hills with the most gorgeous view from our room, really comfortable bed and excellent shower in spacious bathroom. Bar and Food were FABULOUS! - our stay was short but very memorable.
