When I arrived the lovely staff had upgraded me to the sea view suite free of charge and made my stay very pleasant and welcoming. It was my birthday on my second day and when I returned from a long day of walking and sight seeing a lovely birthday treat had been left in my room. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and made my stay special. I will definitely stay again.

The hotel was superb. We were upgraded to a bigger room at no extra cost when there was an issue with our room. The room was lovely overlooking the bay, parking was free, the breakfast was nice and the location was stunning.

Cracking location and predominantly, that's what you are paying for, the room was very nice, but quite basic for the money, but its all about location. It would have been nice to have had a couple of little luxury touches given the nightly rate. Staff were friendly and approachable but often seemed stretched and a couple of times we had to ask twice for things as they weren't done the first time. Breakfast was lovely but just a 1 hour window seemed a bit tight.

The staff are excellent. They are friendly, helpful and generally made our stay really pleasant. I particularly want to mention the older waitress who has partly shaved hair and tattoos. Her cheerful disposition and positive attitude is is a real asset to Lulworth Lodge. Also, the macaroon and strawberries we received for our anniversary celebration were a lovely surprise. Thank you.
