The first room we stayed in was large, spacious with a comfortable bed and walk in shower. The shower was easy to operate, hot water instantaneous. Everything was spotless and as usual, the housekeeping staff is amazing! They go above and beyond to be sure the guest if comfortable. We got sick while we were there and the entire staff was kind and sympathetic which meant a great deal during a difficult time. We also enjoyed the Christmas fare at the restaurant. And finally, when we were stranded by a snow storm, the owner himself gave us a ride to the village. How could you ask for more?

Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The rooms were gorgeous and adequately sized, clean and tidy. Overall a fantastic place to stay. Wouldn't hesitate in staying again when we are back at Haydock Park!
