Amazing location, right in the heart of old top of the hill town. Everything was excellent, from the way I interact with the owner, mr Franco, which gives me orientational advices at phone, to the lady that wellcomed us and at the one that served us at the down stairs trattoria. And not the last, the chef that cooked, the food at ”Antico Forno” was excellent and the ”cinghiale con polenta” was the best ever had.

They loved it just as much now as they did then. The town is picturesque with bars, restaurants, lovely streets to explore and a very interesting wine making museum that sees you go 4 levels underground. Civita di Bagnoregio & Orvieto are great places to visit while staying at Casa Mimmo.

The room came with dinner on each night (we didn't know about it) and it was lovely. The second night we were out so we were given some win and olive oil to take with us as we didn't have dinner. That was a very nice, unexpected touch.
