Honokowai Beach Park and the Farmers Market Maui is 15 minutes' walk from Aston at Papakea Resort. Spacious suites feature kitchen facilities and the property is located on the private 13-acres.

The suites boast tropical designs and a private balcony. Each includes free WiFi, laundry facilities and a dishwasher as well as a kitchen with kitchenware, a microwave, a refrigerator, and a coffee machine.

The hotel is close to lots of eating places and a grocery store so it’s very convenient for food. Just around the corner from the hotel is a little place called Papi’s Ohana which make the best cinnamon buns - if you go early they are hot and fresh out of the oven. We loved the fact that each room had a kitchen and laundry. Some beds were comfortable and others weren’t. We rented four different rooms and each room is apparently owned by different people so that’s the reason for the differences in bed comfort in each place. We all loved the fact that this place felt like it was very welcoming, it had more of a community feel than hotels usually do. The pool wasn’t huge but big enough for us and the hot tub was pretty big. They had putting greens for everyone to enjoy as a well as other games you could play around the property. Overall we really liked this place and would definitely come back again.

Located on the beautiful Kaanapali Beach, the Aston Kaanapali Shores features an ocean-front pool and restaurants. Guests can enjoy the on-site massage centre or take free scuba lessons.

Bright, spacious rooms are equipped with TV with cable channels and DVD movie rentals. Select rooms feature a private balcony with views of the Pacific Ocean or gardens.

The resort was comfortable and within a short 5 minute walk to the local car rentals, local food trucks with delicious food, supermarket and boardwalk. The boardwalk is a walk along the beach across several resorts leading to the Whalers village The whales village is a pretty place but filled with high end stores from Sephora to Calvin Klein. We preferred going to Lahaina which was filled with pretty small stores, lots of restaurants, eateries and shops with the local craft at a much lower rate than what you would get in resort gift shops The beaches are divine and just amazing to see a variety of colourful fishes swimming in the shallow waters as well. The haleakala sunrise left us awestruck but later got to know that we were lucky to get it and many others don't get to see it of the skies are overcast by clouds. The 250 usd we paid per person was worth it. Also this place is 10000 ft above sealevel with breathtaking views however it is super cold and windy so be prepared with warm clothing and layering up. We went with Skyline tours arranged by the resort. Overall worth a visit ..just be prepared to wake up at 1.30am to leave for the peak. The Laua at Royal Lahaina was good. Dancers were brilliant. Food was OK and the pork was only shown but not served. Alcohol was unlimited. Overall staff are very courteous and filled with Aloha. The concierge were super helpful.

Situated on one of Maui's most beautiful beaches on Napili Bay, The Mauian Hotel offers a variety of activities and friendly services. Guests have access to the swimming pool, two oceanfront shuffleboard courts, and three poolside gas barbecue grills.

Coming from Europe we fell in love with Napili beach during our honeymoon many years ago. The Mauian Hotel was the affordable solution for us with kids. We also didn't want one of those huge, anonymous places to stay and were not disappointed. The Mauian is one of the most beautiful resorts we have been to: lots of huge palm and plumeria trees. The vegetation shows that it is not a new resort but one that has been there for many many years. The pool in the middle of the resort is not the newest or biggest but everybody meets there for barbecueing and sozialising. The beach is just perfect! Many guests revisit and know each other - very familiar and family orientated (which also means quite a lot of rules like e.g. pool hours annd quiet time) We absolutely loved everything: the torches, the room, the gardens, the beach, the security guy.....

The beach by the hotel is beautiful and not too crowded, you can even snorkel the reef right by the hotel and we saw 2 turtles. Black rock is only 15 mins walk which was incredible snorkelling. The pool was nice and the resort has everything you could want including the trolley to whalers village for extra dinner options/shopping etc. The hotel also upgraded our room which was very nice. Definitely had a more relaxed less crowded feel compared to other places and good value for money.

Lovely property of all the properties we stayed on Hawaiin Islands, this one was the best. We were upgraded, a very big thank you to the kind lady who checked us in on 28 April at around 3, we were delighted with the location of our room considering we used this time to relax on our 3 night stay as we did no sightseeing but went to a wedding.
