Richard the proprietor was amazingly helpful and made our visit very special by providing info and tips on where to go and what to see. such a difference between this B&B and a sterile, impersonal hotel. plus breakfast was OUTSTANDING! thank you, Richard and your advice for Quebec was also excellent!

Set 400 metres from Federal Parliament Buildings in Ottawa, Alt Hotel Ottawa welcomes guests with an on-site restaurant and bar. Room & bathroom both were spacious, our room did not have a view. Staff speak English. The room had a Nespresso machine. Parking garage is across the street, which was fine as we had great weather.

Upon check-in, guests must provide photo ID and a bank issued credit card for a pre-authorization of room and tax charges, as well as $100. for security. The room was very nice, large and comfortable

Seconds from Ottawa MacDonald Cartier International Airport this conveniently located hotel is completely soundproofed and offers many exceptional on-site amenities and facilities. So nice to be in a spacious room…rather than the usual hotel sized accommodations. Having a small kitchen, with sink offered us the opportunity to bring sandwiches for our flight the next morning..as we were leaving very early and before restaurants open at the airport. The bedding and mattress was of good quality .
