The breakfast options were excellent and delivered in a hamper every morning at the time of our choice and included lovely pastries and fruit selection as well as porridge and smoothies There was tea, coffee and snacks available and restocked every day. The room was spotlessly clean when we arrive and cleaned thoroughly every day. The bathroom was stocked with every amenity needed. The location was fantastic being a very small village but with a local pub where we ate a couple of times and a small village store. We liked everything about our stay. Rebecaa the host was extremely helpful and went out of her way to make sure our stay was good. Thanks for the treat in the hamper on our last day!!

Unidade de Alojamento muito antiga mas muito bem adaptada, decorada, preservada e muito funcional. Excelente conjunto de "comodidades" com algumas surpresas simpáticas como a garrafa de gin no quarto. Pub no local, sempre a funcionar e onde se pode ter uma boa refeição. Pequenos-almoços substanciais, com variedade de pratos quentes. Parte em buffet com menos variedade. Localizado em bonita e simpática aldeia rodeada de florestas preservadas e ótimas para caminhadas.

This splendid manor house is set in 35 acres of wooded parkland and offers modern facilities in historic surroundings. The property boasts an indoor pool and a gymnasium. What a beautiful spot, a throw back to another era with the formal house, dining, and gardens replete with peafowl. We arrived by bus and on foot, saw a play at the theatre right next door, and enjoyed the Tring Natural History Museum. The staff were welcoming and - once we revealed our own lack of formality - funny. We would love to return. The pool was beautiful too!

O Chequers Inn é um alojamento do século XVII com bastante personalidade que apresenta um restaurante premiado e um jardim amplo. Fantastic property in a great location. The room was perfect and very well prepared with everything you could possibly need. Staff were great and the food was some of the best we've had. Would 100% recommend.
