Opened in 1878, Fujiya Hotel features Meiji Era architecture set in Hakone’s natural beauty. The hotel itself is absolutely exceptional, and probably the most impressive luxury hotel I've ever stayed. If you enjoy the history exploration and the Japanese-western style, Fujiya definitely will be a great fit. The hotel finished its renovation 2 years ago and everything is in good condition. You can experience its glory and rich history since the majority of areas are free to explore for staying guests. (Do not miss its museum, library and garden. The swimming pool is a bit small, and personally I quite enjoyed its style.) In fact, my friends and I spent so much time exploring the hotel itself, the time spent in Fujiya hotel eventually became the highlight of our Hakone trip.

Open in April 2017, Field Hakone Resort is set in Hakone, a 6-minute walk from Sengokuannaishomae Bus Stop. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and free private parking is available on... The room is very spacious and clean. We like the fresh air here. We had booked a 3-night stay and visited Hakone and Kamakura areas on 2 separate days. Weather was not on our side and we were kind of disappointed not being able to see Mt.Fuji in the 2 days. To our great delight, the owner Nori-san offered to drive us to nearby spots to view Mt Fuji and the Mt Halone. We took pictures and videos of the majestic Mt. Fuji. That made our day and perfected our Hakone trip! Thank you Nori-san for the extra mile!

Situated in Noge district in Yokohama, GuestHouse FUTARENO is a 5-minute walk from Sakuragicho and Hinodecho stations. This is an AMAZING guesthouse!!!!!!! It’s located close to Chinatown, but off on a side road so it’s very quiet. The owner Kenta and his family for so kind and welcoming!!!!! The house was very cozy and comfortable. I loved that there was free tea and coffee provided as well! I definitely will stay here again in the future!!! Thank you for everything!!!!😀

The rooms at Kinnotake Tonosawa comes with a private hot spring bath. They also include a coffee machine. The hotel has free WiFi, and a terrace. The staff were so accommodating and helpful and spoke good English. Truly a gem in Hakone!! The onsen experience was superb. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

Surrounded by bamboo trees and hills, Yoshimatsu is a traditional Sukiya-style Ryokan (inn) with beautiful outdoor hot spring baths. Overlooking Mt. Their breakfast and dinner were exceptionally delicious and beautiful. The staffs were so friendly. The room (#102) was so specious - it had 3 separate rooms in it and big enough for 3 couple or a big family!

Hoeiso is set amidst mountains and a river, located 1 km from the Buddha Statue Hakone Kannon Fukujuin. The Japanese-style accommodation features both outdoor and indoor hot spring baths. Staff was really friendly and even talkative some times. I enjoyed the onsen, specially with a cold weather.

Fukuzumiro features an authentic Japanese atmosphere, natural hot spring baths and traditional Japanese-style rooms with garden or river views. It's a 15-minute walk from Hakone Yumoto Station. The traditional Japanese breakfast was super delicious. And the traditional Japanese dinner even better. We loved the kaiseki experience at Fukuzumiro in a wonderful traditional setting.
