Situated in Bolmsö in the Kronoberg region, Bolmsö B&B has a garden. This beachfront property offers access to mini-golf. Really wonderful place. The little family apartment/room was perfect for a family of four. I can’t say enough about how peaceful the location is— lake beach right at the doorstep, a ferry right around the corner to get to a different part of the lake. We saw deer, foxes, and a boar just driving in and out of the island. Breakfast was served at our convenience and was extensive for an inn. The owners were also quite kind and patient with our children who had spent too much time cooped up in the car and sought to explore the grounds.

Surrounded by greenery, this B&B is 10 minutes’ walk from Vetlanda Train Station. It offers free Wi-Fi, a guest kitchen and TV in all rooms. Jönköping city centre is 70 km away. Breakfast was really nice. Great selection. Lovely display.

Dating back to 1881, this family-owned hotel is located in central Västervik, right next to Västervik Train Station. It offers individually decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi access and cable TV. This is one of the absolute best hotels I've ever stayed at. Wonderfully decorated rooms, great and tasty breakfast with lots of ecological choices, home made products and so on. Also, the staff is always truly service minded and I also like that I get the possibility of hiring a bike.

Set between Lakes Toven and Ålsjön, these tastefully decorated cottages and rooms are 25 km south of Västervik. The cottages offer a BBQ, kitchenette and private patio. Very nice hostess, super location, directly on two lakes including sunset. Heated cottage, breakfast and dinner freshly prepared by the hostess on advance order.

Situated 20 km from Astrid Lindgren’s World Theme Park, Vimmerby Stugby offers free sauna access and accommodation with fully equipped kitchens. Granssjön Beach is a 5-minute drive away. Very welcoming owner, ensuring that we feel good and have everything we need. We actually were there 2nd time and for sure will come back again!

Housed in a beautiful historic building, only 17 km from Växjö, Villa Gransholm offers activities like canoeing and tennis. The individually decorated rooms have wooden floors and a work desk. Delightful old villa with lots of charm, lovely restaurant with great food and staff, beautiful grounds and comfy rooms. there was no A/C or TV in our room but the window could be opened and we didn’t need TV. Tea and coffee were available in the common areas.

This property offers a sauna, wood-fired hot tub and modern accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Kvillsfors village is within 5 km, with Vetlanda town centre a 25-minute drive away. Beautiful surroundings in the Swedish country side. The rooms where very nice everything you needed was there and the beds were good breakfast at the main house was good and the old house and decore made it extra special to dine there

Situated within a 5-minute walk of Kalmar Castle and the city’s Central Station, this good-value hotel provides free WiFi. All rooms include a flat-screen TV. Couldn't have found a better location. The staff and services were outstanding. A light supper and beautiful breakfast buffet were included. What a treat!

This family-owned hotel is centrally located in the coastal town of Västervik, only 150 metres from the Västervik train station. It offers free Wi-Fi access. Good Nordic breakfast. Parking with charging possibility was great for us as we were on our first trip with an EV.
