Everything we’d hoped for, really lovely cottage, amazing location, everything worked. The milk in the fridge & Alnwick chocolate cake were such a thoughtful touch. Also the photos & maps on the walls were great!

The shower was powerful and it was very quiet at night and only a short stroll to a local pub and farm shop. I got the bus to Seahouses one day and Alnmouth the next and both days walked back along the coastal path. The food is really good (especially the mixed seafood curry). The beach is heavenly and quiet even in the heatwave. The garden is lovely for a post walk pint. So much choice for breakfast! Bedroom lovely and clean, and quiet.
