I really loved how spacious the room was. It had its own bathroom and an awesome view of the river. There was plenty of room to stash our bags too. Despite being in a super touristy spot, I had a great night without any outside noise. They even hooked us up with yukatas, which my brother and husband totally rocked for a dip in the onsen. What I also adored was the traditional Japanese vibe of the place. Wish I could've stayed longer and soaked in that view from the room.

Of course the onsen, but also the breakfast room, which looked very friendly and open. The breakfast itself was very good as well, especially nice as it was a traditional breakfast - as well as traditionally served. The room was nice, but of course traditionally small as a Japanese room with futons. We got exactly what we expected as a "typical Japan experience"

We wanted to experience a ryokan so booked this place. It wasn't quite what we had imagined since it's a huge place. The rooms are very large and had futons that were laid out at night. We opted for the traditional breakfast in the morning, which was fine though not extraordinary. The location is good, on the canal just across the street from a lively area with tons of restaurants and shops.

Absolutely lovely stay in an authentic ryokan. The welcome treats, yukata (bathrobe), and bath slippers provided were sweet, homey touches. The in-house onsen was a great way to end a long day and unwind.

They had cultural week during our stay and given us free takoyaki, free experience with yukata and wearing kimono. The hotel is so conveniently located, its free flow of drink, alcohol, coffee, ice-cream is FANTASTIC. The hot spring is in different building at the back, which isn't "common" but is also nice. Love breakfast. Everything is great. Subway access convenient too. Recommend highly

Really liked the hotel; it’s great value for money and near to the famous Shinsekai district. The rooms are Japanese style (tatami floors, futon) which was nice.
