9Everything is perfect and excellent. Perhaps it is the best hotel I ever stayed given that I traveled extensively all my life. The staff are courteous, efficient and the rustic Japanese style offers a unique atmosphere of serenity and Edo period.

8.5Great place with nice onsen. Friendly owner. Totally worth a one-night stop on the road to Takayama. Nothing really worth visiting in town but this hotel is one of the best surprise of our 2 weeks trip. Highly recommended.

8.7Staffs are very nice and friendly. It seems that foreign language is not problem. They try to help and recomment the best things for us. If we have a chance to visit there we will book in that hotel as the first option.
