Clean and extremely comfortable bed. Room was beautifully decorated, the bathroom was lovely and big, had great bubble baths. Food was just wonderful, and the amount of people going for food indicates what a fantastic reputation this place has. Staff were attentive and extremely helpful.

Much Wenlock is a lovely little market town perfect as a base. There are few interesting shops and if you like Indian food highly recommend the Bilash. There is a regular bus service taking you to Shrewsbury or Bridgenorth. We enjoyed our stay and found it very relaxing.

Traditional large country village, with a few local shops.
Traditional large country village, with a few local shops. Some beautiful medieval buildings, although sadly one or two were empty and a little neglected. At night, even on a Saturday, you could hear a pin drop even on the High Street and if you want to eat out, come early because kitchens close at 8 or 8.15 at the latest !!! The locals were mostly friendly and the local accent is a thing of beauty.

A really interesting and history rich village.
A really interesting and history rich village. Great of Olympic enthusiasts. Lovely little museum which explained why it is the birth place of the Olympics. Lovely little shops with an excellent book shop, which also had a fabulous second hand vinyl section. It's a beautiful village architecturally. Worth bearing in mind there are NO taxi services available to collect you without some pleading to firms in Telford or Shrewsbury.

A little gem of a market town full of friendly locals and with a lot of talented artisans who showed their wares at the Saturday market (exceptional).
Perfectly placed location to explore Shropshire - small, but full of interest and easy access to well-known sites.
Wonderful walks from the heart of the town give you a real feel for the countryside.

There are also a number a very pleasant walks in the area of varying lengths. There are many interesting placxes to visit in the local area not too far away.
A hidden gem.
Only stayed for one night, but the Talbot Inn is so nice, the staff are so polite and helpful, the room number 7 was beautiful , spotlessly clean, very comfy big bed.Now the food ,it was lovely and big portions,.
The breakfast was just the same so very nice.If you are heading to much wenlock I really recommend staying at the Talbot inn.we will definitely stay again .Many thanks for making our stay so nice 😀👍
We arrived a bit late and we were welcomed by the host. The room was clean and in perfect order.
The building is very old and perfectly maintained. It was for one night only, but surely perfect for a longer stay.
The location is central to Much Wenlock, that is a fantastic village.
We had a breakfast, standard in the proposal, were well made and good.
Surely to visit the area another time and book again.
Great location in the heart of Much Wenlock. Well laid out space with two bedrooms. Good kitchen which is well equipped. Hob oven and microwave. Dishwasher and clothes washer. It very much suited my requirements and to have friends round. I particularly liked that there is a designated parking spot so you don't worry when out in the evening as its also a pub car park. I thought it was great value.
This is a pleasant apartment near to the centre of Much Wenlock. It has two bedrooms and a comfortable lounge with a well-appointed kitchen. There is car parking around 20 metres away and the various pubs and restaurants in the town can all be easily reached on foot. It has a key pad lock which means that you can't lock yourself out, which is also handy. It is dog friendly. The wifi worked very well.
Fantastic brownies on arrival along with milk, bread and butter plus lots of useful basics like washing up liquid, tea and coffee etc. The house is spotless and comfortable and we had everything we needed for our stay. Our elderly dad loved that it warmed up really fast when he put the heating on. Beds were comfy and location in heart of Much Wenlock was brilliant. Parking was nice and easy too.
Food was lovely, located in a nice little village. if you want a modern hotel with all the facilities its not for you. This is a small hotel that needs some updating but it was clean and all the staff were friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble for them. As a disabled person they went out of their way to do everything they could to ensure I had a comfortable stay.
The location was very central in Much Wenlock with easy access on foot to cafes, bars, restaurants and points of interest. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was practical with lounge seating in the room. The key for the apartment was spotlessly clean and easy to access via the combination lock. Parking was available in the public car park adjacent to the property.
Much Wenlock is picturesque and beautiful village, and this apartment's location within the village - is second to none.
It was easy to get to using public transport (a bus every hour to/from Shrewsbury).
The apartment is very cosy, and the kitchen is well equipped with high-end electric devices.
The bed was divine!
Many thanks David for this lovely place!
Lovely apartment whcih was well equipped for our stay. Parking outside and ideally located within the town of Much Wenlock and a short drive to Ironbridge, Telford and Shrewsbury. It was great to have piping hot water, literally immediately on tap and the shower was equally cosy. Owners were very accommodating and communication very good. Thank you Pam!
From the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff who were amazing all the way through. Our room was clean, beautiful & very comfortable. The food was exceptional. Much Wenlock is a very beautiful place. We have already booked our next stay at The Raven & are taking family with us to show them the little gem we have found.
Location was great for our requirements.
Comfortable carpets, comfortable bed, luxury feel, room was a large size, lots of local information, television worked.
Food was fantastic from the pub beneath.
Staff were excellent, especially Nuno who seemed to be running the place single-handed.
Comfortable 2 level accomodation ,very clean and good tea making facilities -felt more like a flat than a hotel room . Very friendly and welcoming staff and a good honest plentiful evening meal.
We loved our stay at Fox Corner. A very well equipped and comfortable house in a great location. The Christmas Market in Much Wenlock was so lovely and made our weekend extra special.
Beautifully done up cottage in the heart of pretty historic Much Wenlock. A few steps to everything the town has to offer including an exceptional meal at The Raven.
