Was apprehensive reading some reviews but the stay was very pleasant. Good for a group of friends, easy to walk into town and area was quiet. No issues with internet, heating worked well, beds of good quality and at an affordable price in the area. Also was allowed early check in which was very kind of the hosts.

Incredible Guest house in a village only a mile and a half from Burnley. The interior is gorgeous, sympathetically furnished to the historic origins of the building. It is almost a destination in itself! Plus there is a lovely walk up to the reservoir from the door, and plenty of places to eat a short drive away. The hosts were perfect, the breakfast delicious and the china bone! What more could you ask for except a goal.

We didn't spend time in the town of Burnley.
We didn't spend time in the town of Burnley. As we have family living in the area, we've visited fairly regularly. The countryside around is beautiful. On previous occasions we've visited a National Trust property and other venues, chosen by them.

The centre is walkable, and there is a variety of shops and eateries and although an old town there modernisation of some of the old buildings, there is a market, and a good bus station but the railway is a little out of town. You can see the embankment of the Leeds and Liverpool canal.

Went for a wedding in Bacup hotel was in a good location for us. Went by car but looked like there were plenty of bus options. Ate at reception so didn't try any of the local eateries but seemed plenty of places to choose from.
Beautiful hotel, lovely restaurants, amazing staff especially Rudolph who held an umbrella for me whilst my husband went to get the car. We had problems starting our car and Rudolph sorted everything fir us and got us to our wedding on time . Would highly recommend, we will definitely be back again from Wales to visit family and friends 😊

I love Burnley and the surrounding areas, there is so much history here, it is nice to see that a lot of history has been kept with museums and a working mill, for people who are interested in finding out more about their family history in this area it is a rich place of information indeed.
The hotel is an older style hotel lots of stain glass windows and dark wood, it has a lovely area for breakfast, bar and reception.
Our room was large with a decent size bathroom, and lovely size bed. We enjoyed the amenities, Nespresso coffee machine, tea, biscuits and kettle.
We also used the leisure centre twice during our visit. Swimming pool is a decent size if a little small, two jacuzzis, a sauna and steam room. We enjoyed these a lot.
The guesthouse is set in beautiful grounds beside the canal. The location was perfect, as the town Centre of Burnley is only a 5 minute walk away.
The bedroom and bathroom were comfortable, clean and in excellent condition. A lovely big powerful shower. Good WiFi. The small fridge was a nice extra.
The adjoining restaurant and bar was perfect for meals. The staff we met were very friendly and helpful.
Would definitely stay here again.
Comfortable house in a fantastic, quiet location, with excellent hosts. Just a couple of minutes walk from beautiful parkland and canal walks. Major supermarkets 5 minutes away, Burnley town center and stations less than 10 mins walk. It was a perfect place to stay while visiting family in the Burnley area. Would highly recommend. Thank you to the hosts for being so responsive and accommodating too!
Flexibility to come and go whenever we wanted. Check in was flexible too in the early evening. Location great, as next door to the General store and The Bay Horse pub and close to Burnley and other places we wanted to visit in the surrounding area. Great prompt communication from the B&B owner. Provided breakfast on the second day to fully meet my dairy free requirements, which was much appreciated.
The house is clean, spacious and warm. I had a great nights sleep and it was certainly a better place to stay than any of the common roadside hotels. It had good parking and it had everything I needed. And I have to mention the shower - it was a proper full on shower, not one of those cheap tiny heads, but a proper full size shower. Brilliant. I would absolutely use this property again.
Lovely little cottage, with everything you could need for a warm comfortable and relaxing stay.
Picturesque location with easy access to Burnley, Blackburn, or out into the beautiful Lancashire countryside around Pendle hill.
Was lovely to get away and be able to stay in this lovely hotel. Staff were friendly, furnished to a high standard, very clean room, breakfast was good and setting is beautiful. Just loved my stay here and will be back.
Beautiful property with lovely room, David and Mark made us feel really at home and nothing was too much trouble. Had a wonderful nights sleep and perfect breakfast. Will always try to stay here when in the area
The location was very pretty, in a nice area of the town. A little tough to get back from the town center by foot, but there are buses that stop nearby. Room was very nice and the bed was big and comfortable.
Rosehill house hotel is a beautiful old building, full of character with interesting rooms. it’s also nice and quiet, felt like I got. a very restful sleep then up for a delicious breakfast
It was immaculate! Decorated to a very high standard.Great location ..slap bang in Burnley town centre. All the different codes for doors were a tad confusing but got there in the end x

Lovely new hotel. The rooms were spacious and the beds incredibly comfortable. The shower is amazing. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Fabulous place to stay.
