Not much to see in Crewe but Nantwich lovely, oldy world...
Not much to see in Crewe but Nantwich lovely, oldy world buildings. Plenty of shops and markets. Crewe No food in pubs. No Wetherspoons, but found nice clean cafe Ozzys. Food and service very good. Nice people.

The architecture inside the Hall was stunning.
The architecture inside the Hall was stunning. We were able to walk around and admire it all due to there not being a function on. We ate in the restaurant for our evening meal and for breakfast. Family live in area and transport links fantastic. Town centre is ok in parts, and outskirts rural Cheshire. Liverpool, Manchester and Alton Towers all easily accessible by car or train and trains to Lake District, Scotland and north wales

The house was a 3 minute direct walk from the train station. I was contacted by the owner before arrival to understand accessing the key. The house was lovely and warm when we arrived. The room is bigger than hotel rooms I have stayed in. It is quieter than a travelodge. If you want a room to recharge, then it is ideal. There are many cafes and takeaways so no need to cook.
