The best place to stay in the centre of Solihull. The place feels like at home with the warmth, friendly and caring attention of Teresa.
Sollihull has a lot to offer in things to do. The local National Institute (Baddesley Clinton) has 2 places to visit in a short driving distance with plenty of walking around the properties. There are restaurants within walking and short driving distances as well as grocery stores.

Didn't really see the place.
Didn't really see the place. We were there for an exhibition nearby. There are planty of good restuarants nearby. Just as well because the Regency Hotel restuarant was expensive and not very good.

Solihull is one of the better areas of the West Midlands and offers a pleasant stay and local amenities. Parking in central Birmingham is not easy but a local bus (Route 6) stops right outside the hotel and runs 8 times an hour weekdays, 6 on Saturday's and 4 on Sunday's. In the other direction this runs through to Solihull.
This city of Birmingham has lots to see and plenty of shops including the Bull Ring for those looking for a bit of retail therapy.

The hotel is in Knowle, on the outskirts of Solihull. Lots of great restaurants within a few minutes walk. Fantastic Artisan
Bakery for sandwiches and deli items. Very convenient to get to NEC. Good walks down the Grand Union Canal.

Charged more money than when we booked through booking.com paid for 3 rooms and all on different floors. Said we had to pay extra for breakfast and charged us £155 a family room which wasn’t a family room no child bed was made up. Room full of marks on walls and ceiling. Ask to speak to manager and no manager was working on Saturday ! Really disappointed with village hotels we expected it to be as good as the Elstree one couldn’t be so different.

Solihull is a nice place but I would advise anyone going with a party of 3, booking for 3 ADULTS and expecting 2 bedrooms should ring up and check to make sure it's for 3 adults and 2 bedrooms.
The Limes is set in a rural location. Conveniently located for Solihull and Birmingham, the M42 is a short drive away. The hotel itself is nicely set out. The staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds are well cared for, I spent half an hour after breakfast watching the fountain, whilst cool jazz was playing through an outside garden speaker. My room was clean, the bathroom likewise. The bed was comfortable. The restaurant / Bistro bar has a nice menu selection. The food was plentiful, nicely cooked, and well presented.
The apartment was clean and modern. The entrances are clean, welcoming and secure. There is plenty of parking on site.
The apartment block is in a good location, within walking distance of Solihull town centre. Our host Charlie Grieves, sent us details of how to get into the apartment, the number of our parking space and how to operate the heating, the day before we arrived.
We stayed for one night so we were local to Birmingham airport as we were flying on holiday early the next morning. The hotel was within walking distance to the area we left our car. The staff were very friendly and very helpful on arrival, they even arranged a taxi for us for the next morning to take us to the airport. Our stay was very pleasant.
Our room was immaculately clean, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The staff are friendly and made us feel very welcome. The hotel's location is in a pretty village on the high street was perfect for us, just a couple of miles away from Solihull town centre.
We enjoyed our stay so much that we have already booked again!
Pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The room nice, bed very comfortable with nice bedding, small compact bathroom but clean and modern with nice white towels, toiletries. Nice picturesque setting and a very short taxi ride into the centre of Solihull. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the restaurant food was good.
It was close to where my family lives so I could walk and I have stayed there a few times with my late husband but it was a premier Inn then I grew up in Shirley Solihull so it was nice to go and see what has change
we had a great staycation with village hotel, staff was super friendly and the bed was extremely comfortable with snazzy bathroom features. definitely would visit again for a short staycation.
It was very spacious and comfortable. We were 3 colleagues attending a conference at the National Conference centre which was just a short drive away and a lot cheaper than a hotel
