The first room I was given had loud and noisy air-conditioning/heating unit.
Not able to turn off, reported it to reception.
Although a busy weekend, they found me a new room on the top floor, a little smaller but beautifully quiet.

There was a wide choice of food for breakfast and it was good quality and kept hot until needed. There were a good selection of self-service hot drinks. The tables were kept clean and clean and cleared frequently by friendly staff.

Mattress and pillows were comfy. Glad to find some coffee and tea making facilities in the room as very little else. Large over head shower was good once the hot water came through. Restaurant produced nice food with good service. Central location.
This hotel’s Olive Tree Restaurant has been awarded 2 AA Rosettes for its fine food, and there is an outdoor patio area where guests can relax in warm months.
