So much to do, visiting Tobermory Cheese Farm on Friday...
So much to do, visiting Tobermory Cheese Farm on Friday afternoon, Tobermoray Beach and Aros Park one day and Calgary Beach the next. Then Monday am an hour boat trip to learn about the local wildlife and history, followed by learning about whales in the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust shop where really knowledgeable helpers chatted about all things bones, teeth, shared books and showed lovely interest in our kids' interests. Going at Easter was perfect as it wasn't too busy and we were very lucky with the weather. Great base to explore Mull. Nice little town, mostly closed in January when we were there but that's to be expected in a holiday destination given the location and time of year. We went for the walks and scenery (both great) not shopping!

GOOD FERRY EXPERIENCE FROM OBAN PARKING AVAILABLE IN HARBOUR LOTS OF FRIENDLY SHOP STAFF AND VARIED GIFT SHOPS BEAUTIFUL SCENERY AT TOBERMORAY AND ON THE WAY . WE ONLY STAYED OVERNIGHT BUT WOULD LOVE TO GO BACK TO REVISIT AND SEE OTHER PARTS OF THE ISLAND.

A beautiful gem of a town.
A beautiful gem of a town. The high street has a small but excellent volunteer run museum which is definitely worth visiting. The Tobermory Distillery tour was also fun and informative with a nice dram at the end.

Very pretty and enough for a mooch, but not a shopping trip. Good selection of eateries for several days. Takes an age to go around the Calgary loop, and difficult to find cafes on the way. Very scenic though, if a little remote. Also, about 2 hours to Fionnphort was a little tedious.

Definitely recommend this spot for the location and really personable managers. After a mix-up on the first night, I really felt taken care of by Kirsty and Sophie. I ended up staying in Room 6 and the view was killer. Breakfast was tailored to my allergies and they even allowed a later check-out and stored my bags for me. Would recommend it to other 20-somethings trying to find themselves in Tobermory!

Welcoming staff, breathtaking views, most beautiful castle in Scotland. only stayed one night , of several booked in other castles, my mistake, should have stayed longer! Had the tower suites, truly unbelievable , enough room for a village, exceeded all expectations, Grounds and Castle were post card perfect, clean, secure, and simply Beautiful. It has a sunny terrace and a wonderful airy dining room both overlooking the harbour. The large lounge area is also a very appealing and comfortable room for those wet days.
