Great place ...lots of walks ... a few too many dog walkers which contributed to flies everywhere. But some great places to walk and near to Long Melford, Ickworth,... mass at Clare Priory was also great.

We only stayed for one night - I had brought my 76 year old mum back for a visit as she spent her summer holidays there staying with an aunt when she was a child. It is very quiet with some lovely walks and beautiful villages nearby. Lots of history. We had a lovely meal at the Cock Inn which was great value for money and really friendly staff.DianeUnited Kingdom

Pretty much everything we could get with a normal hotel room was provided - bed with bedding, bedside table, bedside lamp, travel kettle. Although the site is off-grid, we only had to pay £3 to top up electricity (on top of the £2 already topped up by owner). The pod and the toilets and shower rooms were spotless and very close to pod.. The owners are friendly and helpful. Food is provided on site throughout day and it is cheap and tasty.

Steve and Carol are happy and helpful hosts, on hand if needed, and Clare is a charming village with just about everything you need.
