hotel is central, only a 30 min drive to cork city centre. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was good. has got parking at €7.50 per day but its on a first come basis. there is also street parking but ticket only lasts for 3 hours.

Local businesses lacked the customer service mentality that seems prevalent throughout Ireland. Very few dining options, most of them full. Cobh is delightful, quite small but with many things to do...
Cobh is delightful, quite small but with many things to do mainly concerned with history of the town. It is associated with the Titanic, but amazingly the infrastructure for the big liners is still there: the White Star Line and Cunard offices are still there as is the train station which brought so many travellers to the town. There are plenty of good restaurants in the town and the town is very easy to get around. The only problem is the hilliness of the town. Also Cork city is very close by.

A picturesque little spot set on a steep hill. Beautiful views, fantastic cathedral, interesting Titanic Experience museum. Trips out to Spike Island although we didn’t have time to visit. Easy distance for Cork City and Blarney Castle which are both recommended.JocelynUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10
I didn't realize that Cobh was so small and booked two...
I didn't realize that Cobh was so small and booked two nights there. In hindsight I should have just made it a day trip from Cork. I visited the Titanic Experience which was very informative. It is only about 45 minutes long so I recommend checking it out. There is a completely gluten free cafe there called Hoban's Treats, which was great for me as I am celiac. However, my kids also enjoyed their cake and cookies. I was only let down by two things. The boat trips to Spike island stop at around 2pm and I wasn't aware of that. Also, a number of restaurants were closed even though their sites and Google had them as open. It was difficult to find a place to have dinner that could cater for my dietary requirements.michaelmvellaMalta - 10Scored 10

The spacious en-suite has an amazing view of Cobh harbour and is super clean. Quick and sufficient hot water in the bathroom. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful, they helped us book a nice dinner and gave nice recommendations for things to do in town. Delicious breakfast with plenty of options and fresh juice, fruits and yogurt. This is so far my most pleasant stay in Ireland also world widely, would definitely recommend!!

The room was on the 4th floor and the elevator is not reliable so lots of stairs ( my wife and I are 76 years old). There is no breakfast although some croissants were provided with jam. The only free parking is uphill 1/4 mile away on street. The room was quite small by American standards. In short this is a place for the young and adventurous. The host was delightful, warm and welcoming, helpful and friendly. She went out of her way to to make us feel at home and even bought me some bread mix to take home as I loved her daily freshly baked bread so much! The location was perfect to discover this beautiful and historic part of Ireland. Would happily recommend to anyone visiting cobh.
