Location is the big selling point, the surrounding is wonderful and location allows you to visit many places relatively near the hotel. Staff in polite and nice to deal with.
The dinner was wonderful, high grade grilled beef and a small courtesy from the house gives a pleasant impression to the paying customer. Still on the food departament, breakfast was good with diversed offering ranging from fresh fruit to scrambled eggs and bacon.
Bathroom had a bath tub, such a treat when most places now only offer you a shower.

The house is rustic, recovered with love and dedication, with all the accomodations needed for an excellent stay.
Paula and Vandelei will make you feel at home, with very good recommendations of places to visit in the area. I'm already missing our great conversations.

We were staying nearby in January, house hunting.
We were staying nearby in January, house hunting. The town would have been much livelier in the holiday season! However there was a very good restaurant, not smart but super food, A Grelha do Zezere, which I would recommend. The reason people come here is for the nearby lake which is a centre for water sports. The town itself isn't great but the region has beautiful spots for a retreat in nature - hikes, mountain bike paths, plenty of lake/river beaches. There's not a lot of restaurants in the region but all those we tried serve amazing food.

As for the hotel definitely a NO, NO! Very Poor hygiene standards on bed rooms, swimming pool and adjacent area. Very pleasant staff apart from being under staffed. All other places visited were ok, within expectations and some even above expectations. Restaurants with good cuisine and nice people.

It is a little peace of heaven.
It is a little peace of heaven. The water has the right temperature. The views are incredible wherever you look. You can swim, ride a water scooter, sup and ride your car up the hills to explore the area. We ate in Café do Lago, the staff was very nice. They had a few food choices at great prices. The Café also had a wonderful views to the Blue Lake. We stayed in the Estalagem do Lago Azul (blue lake inn). Wow! A room with a view, we swam in the lake and in the pool. Ate a spectacular breakfast there. We had dinner in Quinta do Adro, we loved it as well. This place is just great.JoanaPortugal

The breakfast is really good - it exceeded the expectations. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, good enough to stay the night, enjoy the surroundings and spend some time by the swimming pool (suitable for couples or families). The hotel is located at 4 km (5 minute-drive) from the nearest attractions and sights (Dornes / Ferreira do Zêzere) and approx. 30 km from Tomar.

Needed extra bed for our 15 year old and it was for free in a seperate place by the entrance which gave as more space to move arround.
