Traveling around Boracay was quite simple. We walked the short distance of two to three minutes to reach the white beach from our station 2 lodging. It's a gorgeous beach with loads of things to see and buy, and of course, you can't visit Boracay and not wear braids! The natives provided so many different activities. Because so many locals in Boracay offer their services when you arrive, you don't need to make reservations online. There are too many restaurants to select from, so I'm sure you'll all enjoy it. Boracay's population is incredibly kind and personable. The cost of food, lodging, and other purchases was exactly perfect. Although station 2 was the busiest due to the location of the white beach, station 3 was currently my favorite location, however all stations were excellent. Happy hours were in full swing, and we naturally didn't pass up the buffet with a live band on the beach. It was quite pleasant! Everyone of you ought to go to Boracay! You'll undoubtedly convince yourself that you'll return soon:-)

1. Several beautiful public beaches.

1. Several beautiful public beaches. Ilig Iligan, White Beach, and Puka were my favourites.
2. Great sunsets (watched at White Beach)
3. Lots of restaurants with tasty food and good live entertainment.
4. Public transportation is readily available. (Hop on-Hop off is useful if you're into that. Did it once. 24-hour pass is about 250 PHP. 100 PHP for the bikes and electric rides.
5. Friendly people generally (if you look different, get used to stares, waving, or people shouting things from afar to get your attention)
6. Scenic trek and lots of exercise because of the hilly green terrain
7. Decent nightlife (partied at Epic mostly)
8. Lots of police officers around, especially at the beach, so it feels safe, even if you are solo.
Less likeable
1. Have to prepare yourself for an 'Are we there yet?' type of feeling. After flying, multimodal transportation is still needed (bus, boat, bus)
2. Have to be careful of price gouging (inflated tourist prices), so ask your hotel or someone you trust for information ahead of use.
3. Lots of people selling who sometimes don't take no for an answer. Sometimes feels like harassment (even by the feisty kids).

Definitely the best thing to do in the island, in my opinion, is to have a nice hotel and book as many activities as possible. The island is quite small and if you visit the city center 1-2 times you have seen basically everything, aside for partying with friends I would totally recommend doing the activities or enjoying the benefits of staying at the resort you have booked. Moving around is super easy using tuk tuks which are relatively cheap, beware of the tourists traps.

Now overdeveloped and not the pristine paradise it once was.
Now overdeveloped and not the pristine paradise it once was. The beach is not longer as white as it once was. Sunset is still spectacular. Zadar was once rated the best in the world, but I prefer Boracay.

if you are a group of 6 or more people and want to go island...
if you are a group of 6 or more people and want to go island hopping I strongly suggest that you hire a private banka rather than go on a group tour. It is much better value and you are in control of the itinerary. I would suggest 1. Crystal Cove (a separate 300p per adult and 150p for kids) but well worth it 2. Snorkeling at a marine reserve near Crocodile Island. 3 Lunch at Puka Beach travelling via the back side of the Island. The restaurant is simple but the food is good. Negotiate a price on the banka but expect to pay around 6500p for a group of 8.
Helmet diving is good fun but you should not fly within 24 hours of having done so.

The beaches and the scenery is always great; however, you need to come prepared for all types of weather because it can be sunny and hot one day and cloudy, cool or rainy the next. Do not go to restaraunts hungry and expect fast fast service. Most places take 20 minutes to prepare your food as they are making it fresh. If you want fast fast, you will need to go to Jollybee.
Also make sure you ask the place you are staying at what the trike fees are to the place you are going and have that money in your hand. Before you get into the trike tell the driver where you want to go and tell them regular. This means that they can pick up other passengers, if you do not do this they will charge you a lot more and you will be the only occupants which is not very environmentally friendly. Be aware of when schools/work lets out because at that time it can be harder to get transportation.
All the staff is so accommodating and courteous. From the airport, van transfer to hotel Ms. Crystal the owner of the unit make sure everything is going smoothly until our last day. The unit is so spacious and clean it is really a great stay indeed. Only the location is quite far from the station 2 where we need to go back and port for about 15 to 20 minutes drive from the hotel, but if you need a peaceful place this is perfect location to stay in. They have restaurant and infinite pool, a perfect location to relax. Thank you
The best hotel we stayed in in the Philippines, delicious breakfast, clean rooms, all the employees at the hotel are amazing service people who just want to help. And there is one named Marvin who did everything to make us happy and made the whole experience for us at the hotel! I have never met someone who cares so much that you enjoy your vacation. My partner was sick and he took care of us with tea and pills for a sore throat he had. I highly recommend this hotel, there's no way you won't be satisfied.
The location is perfect. The Hotel is very accessible and just across the beach. Their restaurant on the beachfront has lots of food options (Filipino, Japanese, Chinese, Western, etc,) and very talented singer. Two best things with this hotel's restaurant : (1) they have alfresco and air-conditioned dining area you can stay comfortably no matter the weather or the intensity of the sun, and (2) the swimming pool is just right on the beachfront along with the restaurants! The umbrella was also a bonus!
It is located right at the kitesurfing beach and the hotel has its own kite shop as well. So it is a perfect place to stay for a kitesurfing holiday. Then penthouse suite is unique, spacey with good view of the beach. The staff are all very friendly. The surrounding area is clean and safe with security guards near by.
This side of the island is relatively quiet but is just a short walk to the busy White Beach tourist area to enjoy the night life there.
Excellent location, on a quiet and beautiful beach. Close enough to station 1, very easy to reach other parts of the island via taxi or tuktuk. Also there are lots of beach bars near the hotel so no need to leave the area anyway if you don't want to! Really pretty resort with clean and comfortable rooms. Very accommodating and welcoming staff, and they helped with booking local tours and activites.
The location is fair, beachfront is walkable. There is a convenience store located near the outside of the hotel which is a plus.
The facilities are nice and I appreciate the refillable water jugs instead of water bottles - very economical.
The food is superb.
The service is ace.
The housekeeping is the best.
Staff are friendly and accommodating.
we paid bit extra for the room with beach view. it was worth it. the view was the best you can get. the room was very large.
very comfortable bed.
Relatively quiet area, but 10 minutes walking distance from the hotspot for all nightlife (station 2).
The restaurants and bars next to hotel are also very good, Bistro des Amis was our favourite.
The Filipino food was fantastic! The longganisa was the best I’ve ever had! The staff were really friendly and accommodating and it was a short walk to station 2 and walkable to station 1. The place was clean and it was nice to stay somewhere small. They were also able to assist with public transport.
The best place to stay in Borocay!! In just a few steps you have your white beach in front of your Hotel! The owner is so lovely and so helpful with everything you need!!! The rooms are big and have everything we needed! Station 3 is very great place, not so crowded and better beach!
The view from the 3rd floor balcony and the pool is amazing. Also the sunset is as best as by the beachfront at Station 2. The rooms are big and has balconies with great view of the mountain, the sea and the pool. Quiet and peaceful and near Puka Beach.
Beautiful hotel on beach front on Station 2 of Boracay! Convenient to everything. Breakfast is outstanding. The staff are attentive, friendly and overall Fantastic! Beautiful infiniti pool overlooking the beach. We would definitely book here again!
The hotel is strategically located within the island. The rooms are spacious and has very comfortable beds. The staff are very accommodating to our needs. The service comes with a big smile. One of the best places I stayed in Boracay thus far.
Zuzuni Boutique Hotel's accessibility to all the restos and bar, DMall in Station 1-2. The best place to stay especially when you are planning to enjoy the Boracay nightlife. The Staff are also kind and accomodating.
Best beach front hotel in Boracay, Station 1. Friendly staff, quiet place.
Internet speed can be improved, good enough for social media browsing but not so good for streaming movies or if you need to work.
This is a beach facing hotel and I loved that. The rooms were quiet and washroom was clean. The Staff were friendly. This hotel is situated at Station 2 of Boracay. Station 2 is very happening.
the staff are the best. They provided an exceptional service. Kudos to Arjean and the team. No service even 5 star can compare . We will definitely comeback with my husband next timeZ
Friendly staff and always focusing on delivering the best service for their customers. Hotel is well positioned part of D mall and station 2 - 3 min walk from the best beach.
