Continental breakfast a bit lacking in available options. Cooked breakfast was OK. There was only instant coffee available.
The fact that no fresh coffee at breakfast meant we went off site for breakfast the second day of our stah.

Staff were nice hotel nice inside, but rooms in need of upgrade. Could do with plug sockets by the beds and the big mirror moving onto the wall by the plugs from the wardrobe door.

Pets were welcomed, weather was very hot so we were able to enjoy our meals at the hotel outside, which was a bonus. Left the car in the car park and used the Villager bus, the stop being right outside of the hotel and runs a half hourly excellent service to explore the beautiful countryside and other local villages including Tutbury Castle.
The room was good value. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Unfortunately no food available on sight, but a great chippy 2 mins away and are allowed to eat in bar area of the hotel, where plates and cutlery available. Free internet, TV in room. Nice quiet location if you are travelling through.
