Typical student town, with many young people in evidence.
Typical student town, with many young people in evidence. Safe, friendly feel to the town, even in the evening at the weekend. Lots of variety in the restaurants and cafés, good shopping with some very good independent shops, as well as the usual chains.

lovely village of Quorn great pubs and restaurants within 10 minutes walk of hotel 15 mins from space centre well worth a visit and steam railway close by for day trips The Monk in Quorn very nice restaurant. Meal at hotel was excellent staff very helpful.

My son goes to Loughborough college and loves it. To be honest I wouldn't go to Loughborough on holiday but its a nice town. If you like a drink check out Moonface brewery. The market in the town is on twice a week and is nice.KeithUnited Kingdom - 8.0Scored 8.0
Totally recommend the Great Central Railway.
Totally recommend the Great Central Railway. Loughborough seems an interesting town with some nice architectural detail on some of the older terraced housing and a choice of two Wetherspoons for the evening

Very friendly people, nice parks nearby, Charnwood waters a lovely place to visit, steam railway located here for steam enthusiasts, small shopping centre, very busy police presence at night which was concerning!! we did also notice that the area could do with a mass cleanup of rubbish both in the parks and town centre which was a shame as it let the area down!!SharonUnited Kingdom

Anyone arriving at Loughborough mainline station might be worth a £6.00 taxi, as quite a walk if laden with luggage. Bed in my room was so comfy breakfast was first class. B&B is next to a Tesco so handy for nipping out to.
