    What I'm used to really.

What I'm used to really. It's a small town on the outskirts of a big city. Just what you would expect. Nice little park across the road from where we stayed which we could walk through to get to the docks. Lovely little micro pub called The Drunken Landlord.

    It was filthy.

It was filthy. Not the odd thing missed as there were cobwebs. Dirty oven, microwave and sofa heavily stained. I’ve date stamped photos to prove the state of the property. No lightbulb in the landing so it was also unsafe. Outside bins overflowing! Bath hadn’t been cleaned and we won’t even talk about the toilet! The property is not maintained they just take money without caring about the state it’s let out in. I’m a landlord myself and they just give us a bad name.

Wallasey is a poor downtrodden working-class community that nevertheless has great amenities. There is a river walk along the Mersey, perfect for hiking/biking. There are paths high above the sea for walking. The houses are wonderful ~ old-fashioned 1890s to 1930s. It is really easy to get to Liverpool. The sea air is marvelous. Marine Point is a great place for dining, coffee or shopping for groceries. The historical buildings from the early 19th century are great.

Not as the advert stated - said it was a two bedroom appartement when in fact it was a 2 bedroom terraced house. I would not have stayed if known this. Stated it was air conditioned but there was none. Was told by the owner that the unit had bene stolen by a previous person and that they had not replaced it. Noisy neighbours who kept me awake until 2am shouting, tv on loud and singing. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. The owners should be embarrassed advertising it as a luxurious 2 bedroom appartement when in fact it is a 2 bedroom terraced house. No toilet upstairs.

    We loved the location.

We loved the location. A bus stop right outside the accommodation taking us to the Ferry. Ideally placed to visit New Brighton just two stops away on the train. The City of Liverpool and all of the attractions easily reached by bus or train.

The location was perfect just where we wanted to be, we went for a birthday party and it was a 10 minute walk to where the party was, right by the town, sea and ferry over to Liverpool. Great hosts it was Billy that was in touch with us, and neighbours were very friendly and helpful in directions to the local shop, everything you needed was there, all in all a great stay and if we visit again we will be back. I would recommend to family and friends

Sheridan's is like a home from home. The staff are all very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. I loved the fact we could do all our washing and didn't have to take all our dirty washing back home. The pub and rooms are spotless and the food is delicious 😋 I would highly recommend Sheridan's to my family and friends that are visiting wallasey. The best place we've ever stayed at 😍

One of the best guesthouses in UK 👍 The reception given made us feel at home and we were very appreciative about it. Guesthouse is well-equipped and maintained. Very clean and cosy. Great location with 4 minutes' walk to New Brighton Station (Mersey Rail) and easy bus trips to the city across the road from the guesthouse. Thank you for the hospitality.

Very friendly place, located within a 5 minute walk from Wallasey Village train station that’ll get you into Liverpool Central in around 20 mins. Room was very clean , a supermarket dead opposite and free parking. Perfect stay for a great weekend in this wonderful part of the UK 😊 I’ll definitely be back!

Really great location, my friend and I stayed here a few nights during Eurovision. It was an easy bus ride over to Liverpool. Conveniently located near the ferry, the river Mersey, and the promenade. Nice and quiet, facilities were updated. Host was super friendly, and check in was easy.

Excellent holiday property. The host provided literally everything one might need when away from home. The area is great and a short drive from the New Brighton beach. Great value for money! Parking on site. Margaret ensures that everything is maintained to quite a high standard.

The location in New Brighton was great. New Brighton was a nice area and it was easy to catch the bus into Liverpool and pop onto the motorway to drive to other areas. The local amenities were good. The kitchen was well equipped and the apartment was really nicely decorated.

We found Gibson Manor after unsuccessfully trying to book in at Premier Inn where we have stayed on previous visits to New Brighton, and we’re very glad we did, instead of one room with en-suite, we got 2 bedrooms, a living room, bathroom and kitchen.

For that price, nothing to complain about, because most people expect five star hotel services, pay little want more then they think, I'm happy for what we paid for and whole house, £72 per night four of us, very reason price

The property was so spacious, we were a large family with children, and there was more than enough room. The property is also really centrally located in the heart of Wallasey Village and so close to the train station.
