It is a town with an industrial atmosphere, cut in two halves with a frequented motorway. Lots of old delapidated factory buildings. There are some nice places, like the main squares of Frýdek and Místek or the park by the river Ostravice, but the general feeling is not very inspiring. The best thing is the short distance to the beautiful Beskydy mountains, which are easily accessible by bus, train or car. It is easy to get around on foot or on the local buses.

Staff always had a good mood, room and the place wasn't 3 star pension but 4.5 star hotel feeling instead. Even under the beds or smallest corners there literally no dust particles at all. They also have a great pizza restaurant down in there and pizzas were perfect. Location was really really goood it's in the middle of center. You are getting a great value for your every cent. The breakfeast is nice. The staff is very friendly, always has a smile to you and on top of that the lady at the reception was very helpful, went the extra mile to answer any questions we had and help us with information (local transportation etc.). You should visit this place when staying in this hotel. They offer local foods also and drinks. Mountain and city views from room was really beautiful. Parking was free across the street. Overall very great value for your money. Will 105% reccommend this place.
