I stayed in Campinas for 2.5 weeks.
I stayed in Campinas for 2.5 weeks. The first 2 we were in Cambui which is a lovely area in Campinas. It is safe and has lots of restaurants, bars and coffee shops. The last few days we stayed in Barao Geraldo which is the area around Unicamp. This too is a nice area with shops, restaurants and bars. We rented a car which made it easy to get around. People in Campinas are very friendly. Most people do not speak English but they will bend over backwards to help you out.
